I did the same a while ago. Searched for continuations of the various old threads out of curiosity. But, I didn't come across anything. I never did finish Vagabond. Only just recently began really browsing manga as I've run out of TV shows and anime that interest me to pass free time. Figured I'd finish out a few anime stories that interested me in the past with their manga.

Pun Pun is a dark coming of age story but eventually, he finds his way.
Vinland is really great too, def try it. The anime is mediocre so there is that but I like the manga a lot more. But that's just cause I love tragedy. The characters are a lot better in the sequel but not everyone's cup of tea. Downfall is a short one so I really like it. Have fun! |

Your plan to read is pretty solid actually. I like a lot of the work from the mangaka of solanin, so I'd add punpun and downfall to your plan to read if you like solanin. arakawa under the bridge has a really quirky ending which really fits the end of the story at least in my opinion. I haven't read the accelerator side stories so I have no clue if the manga is good and vagabond is really good.
If you enjoy vagabond, I'd recommend Vinland saga as the first half of Vinland is very similar to vagabond. I really like horimiya so nothing to really say there, and noragami is pretty okay. Nothing really sticks out as horrible. Although there are a few titles I don't recognize. |

As a J-learner, I strongly advise against kanji tattoos. Flower arabesques are rad though. I bet daffodils would make a nice shoulder blade motif. You would have to go big of course, in my experience most girls don't really fancy big tattoos. What other tattoos do you have? On the foot maybe? |
