Hello
About your comment in this topic ,about Japanese birthrates. According to a list of the UN the average birthrate per year in Japan is 8.3 births per 1000 persons. On this list there only 3 country's that have a lower birthrate then Japan. These country are. Germany with 8.2 births per 1000 persons Singapore also with 8.2 births per 1000 persons And the last one are actually 2 regions of the Peoples Republic of China, being being Hong Kong and Macau, with 7.6 births per 1000 people. To give you something to compare with the average birth rate in the US is 14 births per 1000 persons, and the average ratting in the European Union is 10.5 births per 1000 persons. Keep in mind that there several things that influence birth rate, mainly economy, resources and education. And in that perspective both the EU and the US are similar to Japan, unlike some country's in Africa where the Birth rate almost reaches 50 births per 1000 people. Another thing which i also like to mention is that both Japan and Europe are facing aging problems, this because of the Baby Boom after WW2. Hope this answers your question. Aversa |
