| Subaru and Julius bonding shounen-rivals style was some progress there as they go for Betelgeuse together but the episode and its pacing felt a bit weird, and didn't look that great either. Only one more episode to go for what's been an inconsistent season. |

| BANGER EPISODE AND OST, LOVED THE RESPECT AND BROMANCE BETWEEN SUBARU AND JULIUS, BETELGEUSE IS GOING DOWN FOR REAL THIS TIME! seeing the villagers willing to give Emilia a chance to become friends with them was good, and Subaru getting back on track after dying was even better. I love Subaru's character and I can't wait to see the reunion between Emilia and Subaru. |
| good episode. seeing emilia being accepted by the kids was honestly probably the highlight of this one, really wholesome and heartful moment. i think the episode struggled just a bit in the back half, some minor pacing issues but overall still a solid episode. i'm very excited to watch this season finale now |
| Now this is what I call "starting over and doing things perfectly". He knew all the flaws with the original plan, so he decided to act quickly and now victory is in his hands. I can't wait to see the finale. That was a good teamwork between Subaru and Julius. |
| I don't like the show. Glad the season is nearly over. I'll watch the sequels only because they seem popular. MC is boring. Show is boring. The villain has the same voice as Kirito (Sword Art), Uesugi Futaro (Gotoubun) and Souma (Shokugeki), but he's much less cool here. |

| This arc is pretty dull. Betelgeuse is entertaining, but it's otherwise very standard medieval fantasy fare, without Subaru dying at steady intervals. |
