DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, who would've guessed that the top commanders were shipping back then. Well, I can't blame them, it was a cute moment. But I couldn't get one thing out of my mind Guess this speaks volumes It's hard to imagine, but Oden seems even more adventurous than Luffy. Also worse with responsibility xD Another aspect I noticed is that the anime portrays him slightly weaker. L against Whitebeard is understandable. What's with part against Karma, tho? Even exhausted I didn't like that he was pushed back by him. Dunno why they added it in the first place. Imo unnecessary. Then we saw Teach joining the crew. And Roger hype. Shits gonna get even better. |

| I loved this episode so much. Easily a 5/5 for me. The Karma clash was indeed questionable but aside from that, pacing was great and I adore the adventures feel that this episode gave off. Seeing teach get recruited + Shanks, Buggy and Roger at the end was really nice. Also Momonosuke was born too and Oden received the very first second commander level which we knew as Ace's for the longest of times. Toki saying she was born 800 years ago could be a possibility of Oda showing her when the void century eventually gets explained?? It's also sad that we didn't get to see Oden's wanted poster lol. I noticed that a lot of locations that the whitebeard pirates went with Oden somewhat paralleled the straw hat's adventures. (Desert=Alabasta, Cold place= Punk Hazard, Giants=Little garden, The island with the weird plants = Where usopp stayed, etc.) and I thought that gave off a really nostalgic feeling. Whitebeard destroyed that Giant like how he did in the marineford days. Great episode like always and I can't wait for next week |

| Oda is using an interesting way of showing the audience some of the history of the world by using Oden as an "outside observer". So Teech joined Whitebeard a long time before the events involving Ace. Also, Teech and Orochi seem to be paralleling each other a bit. |

That is the first great mistake, allowing Orochi to be te proxy, his name is fucking OROCHI!!! How could you? Roger notices the Samurai of Wano. |

| Letting that traitor Teech into the crew is what we all know the biggest mistake Whitebeard made. Oden really reminds me of Luffy with his adventurous spirit, also nice to recognize most locations they went to as places the straw hats have visited. |

So that its cool that we are finally getting that, its about time. I need alot more of roger and hope Oda reveals far more then just this flashback arc. |

| And so begin Oden's great adventure across the oceans, seeing many and fighting many all around the world. His dream is being realized each and every single day with him not being called the son, but the little brother of Whitebeard. That just goes to show how much Whitebeard value and respect his strength. And powerful he is, with a spirit of adventure, he marches forward to wherever they set foot upon. He's Chaden and he's making a ruckus around the world. This is one of those moments when the anime enhanced the already wonderful scenes even further from the manga.The longer the ship sails around the world, the closer Oden's and Toki's ship has become. Seeing Toki converse with Oden is relly just heartwarming, the Wano-weeb's beauty is evident even in her daughter; Hiyori. IIRC, both Oden and Toki got aboard the same ship talked, married and gave birth to Momo in 1 chapter in the manga. In any case, I love this ep, I'm as static as Oden is when watching this ep as he is exploring the vast world. Blackbeard is nothing but a mere orphan who struggles to survive by being a fisherman. He spat on Whitebeard's benevolence by killing his crew members and then Whitebeard himself all so that Teech could get what he wanted. BRUH. |

| Everything was great in the episode , but I hated Roger's va and Whitebeard's laugh. The rest was amazing. Oden is so much like Luffy, except he can have a baby lol. I think, we can figure it out from this episode why some One Piece characters are so large.. because they swelled their bodies in the sea XD .Anyway, Teech's appearance was surprising. I am hoping one piece continues to be this great. |

| Understand people that this is a look into Oden's life and Adventures as a great pirate and spans years of time. I see people commenting saying its going way to fast and his relationship with Toki was not fleshed out. well of course not because its a naruation of his entire life and oda is really only focusong on some of the main points of the story. As the story progresses, it goes through multiple timeskips to illustrate that its a long tale. Think of it like a summary of luffy's journey from ep 1 onward to current with only his greatest hits conveyed. Thats pretty much what this story is. I think in the future though we may get alot more of ROGER in the past, when oda reaches that final arc of the series. But this is just first time glimpse into a piece of history that we as readers/viewers have never seen to this point that is intregral to the major one piece story line. |

| Pretty good stuff in this episode. I knew Karma looked familiar even I didn't really remember the exact scene from the Paramount War where I saw him. Was great to see how happy Oden got when Whitebeard finally invited him on his boat. Oden must have felt like it was christmas and his birthday together. At first I thought they were taking Toki back to Wano, but Whitebeard's face expression said enough lol. I love how reckless Oden is. Like Luffy, he almost always storms out and tries things out before giving it a big thought. The best example was the ship he cut in half. The shipping part was by far the funnierst scene xD  Apparently it didn't take long before Oden and Toki got closer and Momonosuke was born. Holy shit. I can't believe Orochi got into the position as proxy for the shogun like this. "The man who Oden cared for as if he was his little brother" MY ASS. How could Sukiyaki think that's true? Maybe Orochi did something with him? Hard to tell atm. Wasn't super spectacular but still very surprising the way Bleackbeard got on Whitebeards ship. What an ungrateful piece of shit. Next sunday finally see more Gold Roger. I'm hyped! |

| A relaxing ok ep. Looks like both Orochi and Teach (blackboard) were two snakes that went did sneaky stuff to get what they want. Amazing to see how long Teach has been with the Whitebeard crew. So Toki was born 800 years ago but is still 26 years old. Looks like she has been traveling to the future many times. Makes me even more curious about her power and how it works. It would be nice if had something to do with the Void Century. Can't wait to know more. |

| Absolutely awesome adaption of manga chapters of Oden's flashback continues. Everything feels so great about watching these episodes, they really made them as good as they could. Next week one is gonna be a big banger from what I see |

Now I get why the readers were so hyped about this arc, will we actually see Roger fighting next episode? Toei better puts some money into this. |

| Oden didn’t waste time, he had a kid with Toki. This is where the divisions started and the commanders were assigned. I have the doubt about how Oden ended with Roger, how they got to Wano Country along with Toki and Momonosuke, I guess. Teach appeared. |
