| Yeah no, I genuinely forgot the author was on some seriously high stuff when she was writing these set of chapters. I mean that blonde guy coming into the picture right now might make it seem fitting from a narration point of view, but not when it comes to the actual plot. Though his stuff will come later so will deal with him later, as you know, right now, we've a walking landmine among us who we need to stop.. Ayame. She might be rooting for Hina and is even pushing Taiki, albeit subtly, for now, but yeah, that could go down south very fast if she overdoes it, which it feels like she would, given they are all in that training camp right now. Taiki might be thinking only about badminton but little does he know lol. I don't really like Ayame but I feel like it's about time Hina gets a closure. Btw, no way Taiki would announce who he loves when both Chinatsu and Hina are at a hand’s distance from him, but yeah, training camp… bonfire.. Ayame… you know hot mess is awaiting us. |

| Ok I freaking love Ayame lol. Not only is she cute she’s the best wingman. It’s so funny each of the moriya sisters are on opposite sides of the Chinatsu and Hina war for Taiki heart. Karen has more of a laid back watch and support Chinatsu approach, Ayame is much more hands on with Hina and wants to do everything in her power to make Taiki realize what he got lol. WAIT CHINATSU FAVE PLAYER IS STEPH?!!! NAH ACTUALLY IM SORRY HINA CHINATSU IS CLEAR AS BEST GIRL NOW 😂 😂 she knows ball. Did not expect to see such a direct reference, but lowkey I see it in Chinatsu’s play-style she was heavily influenced by him! Also he dropped 56 the same day as this ep lol. Man those athletes are going thru HELL in that mountain retreat. Nothing forges stronger bonds than mutual pain and suffering THAT ENDING FUCK. Ayame had good intentions with getting Hina and Taiki in the same game, but that confession card coming up is gonna end up backfiring. Either Taiki confesses to Chinatsu or Hina will take it and confess to Taiki leading to heartbreak, I’m not mentally or emotionally prepared for this. This show is awful for my anxiety 😭 |

| I don't even know why I'm mad: it was obvious it would end up in that part. I doubt Taiki would reveal who he likes, especially after that intro about the pair formation at the bonfire, and with Chinatsu and Hina present. From my own experience, the best way to escape that kind of challenge is to have someone help you, so I put my faith in the god Kyou 🙏. I have two things to say about Ayame. First, spiders seem to have a strange attraction to her. Second, even though she intrudes on the romantic development of the main characters, I still like her as a character, unlike others in different anime who play the same role. Her personality is charming and, honestly I don't blame her after Karen got it right with Chinatsu's fake platonic love. |

| Well I figured Ayame would be a wingwoman of sorts but not like this lol, she’s got the wrong idea about Taiki and Chinatsu’s love interests and is instead trying to help Hina, and while that’s nice and all, it ended up backfiring near the end of the episode when Taiki got THE card, I kinda doubt he actually confesses here because it just feels like the mood isn’t right for it, especially with everyone there to see it, but still a good cliffhanger. Also Chinatsu’s new hairstyle is pretty epic, she looks like a rail rider at a Phish concert lol, very cute tho. |

| I really hate the way blue box does things. Like its got a great set of characters and just uses them weirdly. Like when Haryu lost to Yusa and they just havent brought it up until subtly hinting on it by showing Haryu avoiding Taiki's attempt's to pair up with him. and then you got this stupid bs matchmaking things from Karen's sister. Like Hina knows Taiki likes Chinatsu so why didn't she just mention Taiki was interested in someone else and bro now we get introduced to some random dude on the last few episodes like this has been such a weird episode. But I hope next episode we can get a confession or something. Cause seriously this show has been all over the place recently. |
| Ayame got a false confession out of her older sister. This will probably only cause more problems for Taiki and Chinatsu later lol. And she figured out Hina confessed to Taiki too. Ayame's literally living in her own world. She doesn't have the complete picture and instead of minding her own business she's interfering. This could backfire later. That being said, I like her lol. She's making the story way more interesting. I love the way Chinatsu teases "Inota" lol. Taiki being the doofus he is falls for it every time. It's so cute. All the teams are now on a training camp. It's a bit surprising how the main cast get along so well. Like Haryu and Chinatsu's friend agreeing to play that stupid game. And man, what a cliffhanger. It'll probably lead to nowhere like that episode where Chinatsu fell on Taiki tho... But we'll see. The weekly wait for all these great anime is killing me. |

| Karen unknowingly willing Chinatsu's "type" into existence is absolute gold, and it's extra hilarious that not-Curry's presence probably won't cause a fraction of the chaos Ayame already has. Man, that is one unfortunate reshuffle. Good luck, Taiki. |

The fansub is not perfect either, but it's way better than watching those horrible auto translations on dailymotion and co |

| @wittgenstein72 Yeah, this is getting annoying. These past few episodes have been pushing unnecessary melodrama way too much for me. This show does so many things correct. Why did the author feel the need to write this hot garbage drama instead of focussing on actually interesting drama, which is the internal struggle of both Chinatsu and Taiki? | Thinking of how I feel about Ayame is more complex than I thought it would be. On one hand, she is very nosy and chaotic, but on the other hand, she doesn't hold back in helping out those just as long as it involves romance, so it was only a matter of time before she got herself involved one way or another. I can only imagine how tough the training camp is for those who went, which involves a lot of exercise and training all day. It does make me wonder as to why Haryu refuses to play with Taiki. Maybe the defeat against Yusa in the past is still playing in Haryu's mind, or simply this is his way of having Taiki play more with other players instead. Either way, we got a tamer and more wholesome version of the King's Game, which hearing Kyo speak in cat puns did make me laugh (And also get the attention of one of my cats in a funny coincidental timing), but with Ayame being a mischievous planner, despite the cards being shuffled again, Taiki ended up getting a confession card. Whether he'll speak honestly or something else interrupts the game, who knows. It doesn't change the fact that this episode ended on a cliffhanger and one where I hope Taiki gives us an answer. Kyo's word from before are still playing on his mind, so here's hoping he'll respond truthfully. |
