Fitoria's parting words from last ep sure were menacing ones though. But to think that Fitoria would actually act upon them though. Though the odds were against her Filo's awakening of her core motivation sure allowed her to score an impressive victory. I had a feeling that this fight was a test but to think that the reward was for Filo to become Fitoria's successor though. Its cute how Melty's desire turned out to be a ride on Fitoria's bird form. The little party that was organised for Filo's appointment sure was amusing and a nice gesture. An excellent ep that while doing well in expanding upon both Filo and Fitoria's characters also did well to show just how tough the upcoming battles will be. Looks like Naofumi's attitude really resembles her past master. Seeing this side of her while hearwarming also showed the element of trust that had slowly formed between them. |

OMG OMG FITORIA BEST GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally every time I looked at Fitoria in this episode I immediately didn't care about all the others. The entire time Filo and Fitoria were fighting I was rooting for Fitoria. Its so surprising for one character to be introduced and make me not care about the rest. Also Fitoria was soooooo adorable towards the end. Best girl of the season by far really sucks she'll be leaving soon. |

Filo is the MVP of this week.No doubt the previous Shield Hero who raised Fitoria parallels Naofumi. And damn that cliffhanger at the ending. |

I don't think the team thought through this episode. Kinda felt like an excuse to flex some explosions and a bird loli when we had that last episode. Filo's a very one-dimensional character, so I was hoping that she'd demonstrate some quality other than strength to win the fight. Seemed like Naofumi calling out to her during the fight was the reason she won more than anything else. Then everything else was the queen and Naofumi rehashing previously discussed topics and explicitly stating things we already understood from the implications of previous events. One of the only episodes dedicated to "developing" Filo became all about Naofumi again, and how amazing he is. Overall, it felt like a waste of time. This show started off really strong, I'm sad to see that it isn't keeping up the engaging plotlines and characters it kicked off with. |

It's the typical "winning through sheer willpower" against a much stronger and more experienced opponent trope. |

Man i feel so sorry for Fitoria. She most likely wants heroes not to repeat the same mistake her master (most likely) did. That moment she got petted really got me in the feels; one of the downsides of being immortal, or in this case, have a long lifespan - is that you're guaranteed to be alone sooner or later. P.S 2 other heroes getting nuked - don't know why people expect them to be dead lol. |

Cowlick is magic! I didn't care for the chicken fight. It was terribly forced. But the bird queen suddenly remembering a cherished moment long lost, that was moving. She was like Filo once. Wow, that ending. Megumin arrives in style. EXPLOOSIOONN!!! Isekai Quartet suddenly got larger. Now I wish I knew more about the other heroes' teams. They seem like interesting characters when they stand outside the cave. I bet each has an interesting backstory and cool abilities. Maybe we'll get to see them EXPLOOSIOONN!!! Okay, never mind. |

That might explain why so many people hate the shield hero to begin with...but despite his tendency to never take no for an answer (or even ask the question), I'd happily watch a series based on Sengoku Rance, which is one of the most complex and best adult games I've played. As for this episode, it was good to see Naofumi beginning to bend on his refusal to deal with the other heroes (who seemed to be investigating because of their suspicion that something's going on behind the scenes, and that Naofumi might not be the villain). |
Please don't feed the trolls! In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student carrying a piece of toast in her mouth...rodac |

That's one crazy chick, it's got to be the most well-mannered kidnapping act, taking in Melty that gently, yet so rudely. Smacking us back with that cliché trope of showing a glimpse of a previous hero that suspiciously looks like Naofumi, just a bit bulkier. They are definitely not going there, ugh, next thing they will say she's some hundreds of years old. Kill me. The explosion at the end doesn't look like it's a sign for something good, I'm worried that they both are out for the count, as Fitoria talked about the heroes' death so much, they probably were just foreshadowing what was about to happen, and oh God, with both of them gone, they are going to try to frame Naofumi on it again, aren't they. |

Alright, so if Loli Queen here is so powerful, where has she been during the waves? She seems to care a lot about saving the world, but tells Naofumi that he HAS to reconcile with the others and do all the work. Did I miss the part where she explains why she isn't assisting with her power, because it seems incredibly self-centered. The show is really trying to force character development compared to the start, where it was very natural. I've felt since shortly after the fight against the Spear Hero that something hasn't been right and I think this is it.. Also Melty is once again a hinderance, Aqua has a competitor for most useless girl. Can't wait to see what ridiculous antics they pull to allow Naofumi to prove his innocence to the other heroes. Also can't wait for obvious "the Church is evil because they're evil" reveal that's coming up. I'm enjoying this show less and less. Hope they actually manage to subvert my expectations, because I'm losing interest. |

This became terribly boring since the lolis were added to the harem of the protagonist, I do not know, there is no seriousness, the events have become so cliche, the villains are stupid and generic, the protagonist became a Gary Stu who only has as a characteristic to be a good guy, besides that every time I listen to the dialogues of the harem girls I think I lose IQ xd. In conclusion I think it's time to drop this, the anime started with a somewhat interesting premise, but after that it just followed the isekai manual, without any ambition or desire to show something new. |

Good episode. Though I recall in the WN they fought in bird form and Fitoria just straight out says this is a trial for Filo since she is a queen. It felt like they made Fitoria out to be more vulnerable and sad than the more majestic and reserved feeling she gave off in the WN when I read it. It's not a bad thing, she was so much more adorable here and the final scene where she lays down on Naofumi's lap was so cute. <3 Sakura Tange just nailing it. xD |

The whole outcome of the chicken loli fight had nothing to do with the original premise of said fight. How the fuck do you go from I'm gonna kill sheild bro and all the others to it's a test for the chicken loli mid fight? Oh well pretty sure this will go down as one of the most epic of trainwrecks and I'm gonna see it till the end lol |

Darling in the Franxx Started out in the high 8's with a huge fan base and still has a score in the high 7's. That doesnt make it any less of a shit show, especially in the later episodes, a trend which sheild bro seems to be following. As for the Wn, Ln, and manga hell they might actually be good. But this anime has gone and continues to go off the rails |

The Filo vs. Fitoria fight was very stereotypical, I wish there was more depth to the fight. However, it was interesting to see the development of Fitoria as a character and her motivations/intentions. |

Skurd said: yes, maybe the hero is dead, considering that the Fitoria lives for a very long time, he might be worried and afraid if the same incident will happen againLukesterry said: pity fitoria he looks so suffering for a very long time because he was abandoned, will the firo suffer the same fate if naofumi returns to his native world, by the way I wonder if the hero who left the fitoria himself died or returned to his world, it was very sad he even cried I always felt like the reaction she has towards the fact she wanted the heroes to fight together so strongly having something to do with the past heroes. Where the shield hero and the others did not fight together and as a result they all died because they were too individually weak. So she assume the same will happen again if they do not fight together. Ofc it can something totally different. But that is what it felt like to me. |

Filo is a Queen in my heart too, she deserves that crown for being just greatly cute. She's the only good character in this forsaken anime. |

Last time I checked. Fitoria is NOT in the harem list. She simply wanted to relive her past. Nothing more. |

And with the rate Shield Hero's average is falling (0.01 per week), the rest of the adaptation has to be an actual train wreck to achieve the kind of drop Darling in the Franxx had. |
