| I don't dislike her, but in my opinion, she is the weakest character in the main cast. Her character being utilized as an "element of chaos" leads to a lot of funny and memorable moments though, so I think she is an integral part of the narrative and student council as a whole. |
| Chika isn't anything complex, quite far away from that description, honestly. But she really doesn't need to be, as her primary role in the series is to be the cute, often chaotic comic relief (or comedic multiplier for when things get crazy and the straight man role has been backed into a corner and turned completely redundant), and she's damn good at it. When you think about it, she's basically a loli but with the body of a large-breasted high school girl, and I'm all here for it. My only issue with her is that she really isn't well-suited at all for the more serious and melodramatic parts of the series-- especially past the point where the series' tone shifts entirely into a different and more serious direction by which point her character becomes a lot less relevant. Nevertheless, Chika is probably my favorite character in the entire series, she's just so damn cute (and hot). |
