Okay, while i love the manhua, and originally decided not to read the novel, (princerevolution.org- translated version) It was so bleeping FUNNY!!! > < (aka i gave in to the temptation...) Even thought i had seen the scenes in the manga already, I just couldn't help laughing my guts out at some parts!!! ^^ also, some minor details actually really help to clear some things up (explanation-wise) and you can kind of see Xiao-Lan's character more clearly. All I can say is, i LOVE the novel, and if Yu Wo hadn't also helped with the manhua (aka if they had changed certain things in the manga without her full(?) support and ideas behind the change) I would be slightly tempted to drop it. But i'm not. Cause both the manga and the novel rock awesomeness. ^^ READ THEM. BOTH. NOW. OR I'LL FIND YOU. ^^

so weird... and it's funny, cause when i switched from this to delinquent girl (i'm not sure if the name's totally correct...) the main girls looked exactly the same! =p haha, typical manhwa- but don't get me wrong, manhwa it AWESOME. it can just be somewhat typical at rare times. =p

Well, when i first saw this manga, i always thought 'well, it's popular, but i'm not sure i wanna read it...' so it was on my plant to read list where it would apparently stay for eternity... until i got the mangareader.net and saw beelzebub and bakuman as the only two manga i don't read in the 'recently updated popular manga' list thing, and clicked on bakuman, sampled it, didn't feel like reading it, went to beelzebub, started reading it, and kept reading it nonstop since yesterday. ^^

Funny and serious, i just love it. ^^ that's all i have to say. can't even explain how awesome it is. ^^ and CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER. and i'm also sad that it's not on mangastream. ='( i was so sure it would be there... ='( oh well, broken hearts mend... =p

If i had to liken it to any i'd say that it very loosely, and i'd say very VERY loosely resembles rave master. nto even. it just reminds me of rave master, but it's its own manga. Totally unique from what i've seen before... though you can totally tell that it's a shounen.

dude. this manga is AWESOME! I really love it~ staz rocks AWESOMENESS. Really, in the first round, (not chapter, round- you'll get it if you read it)- I freaked out. seriously. Seriously, I was just like 'staz, play dirty, but don't do this to me...!'- mini spoiler: he didn't do it to me. god, i love staz. ^^

it's fun, but after having read beast master, in which something similar was done in a more realistic way, this manga kinda feels like shoujo fantasy, which it is, but...meh.

I love this manga, but this is one of the few manga where i can say that I dislike the main character. Well, i don't dislike her, it's just that i dislike her current love situation (i just finished chapter 13) for a few reasons... plus, it's just that people can be impulsive up to a point. She passes that point sometimes, and it annoys me. not 'argh, i hate you!' annoys, but 'jeez, why does she have to be this stupid' annoyed. almost gets to obnoxious really. But don't let that put you off, it's actually a pretty good manga. It's just that, be it because of the people around her, or her circumstances, the main character seems to be a little... yeah. but don't worry about it. just read it. =)

seems kool too.- UPDATE: LOVE the manga... but mangafox has only 17 chapters that were last updated in 2008... so the hunt for the last chapter is ON. i love this manga and all the characters in it, and i saw some of the parts of the game coming... but this really is a completely different type of manga that will keep you on your toes.... if you're not afraid of a little bit of blood, i suggest you read it... this manga was awesome. i'm not one who's shy of gore and violence... but some scenes in vinland saga got me... meh... (not queasy, but not cheering either...) but this manga had me every step of the way. it's on hiatus (for the last two/three years...) so i guess it's either wait till i'm old enough to buy the manga myself, or wait for it to be scanlated; the wait is on...

A very interesting manga, i found it kinda hard to get into at first, but then it got better near the end of the first volume, especially when we got a teensy bit into two of the main characters' first meeting. (event though that was an extra chapter...) not that i can judge the manga in terms of volumes, as i've only read the first... many thanks to ritsuzen manga scanlations, who managed to get a whole volume out before closing. ^^ It has kepet me from dying out of misery and woe. ^^ I shall someday buy the manga myself, of course. (when i have my own money- my parents would NEVER buy something like that... T^T) Anyway, i personally really like the manga. ^^ READ IT. (and stick with it, especially if you get past the first volume ^^)

love this manga.... especially the sad parts or not really sad, well they are, for the character... yeah... it's just that they're more interesting... =) but i hate how all the characters are clueless about the plot of another one that they GET to that status quo. I was like 'oh come ON. too obvious!!!' it's like they almost don't use their brains y'know? i mean- if all of them stopped to think, they would know what was going on. at least two of them would know for sure.

Such an interesting manga. I have to say, I love love LOVE the three princes, and the king, and then the poison princess are just right next to my heart. Oh belladona! I loved the first chapter. It was perfect. I was reading it, and when I finished I was all "I wish this was a one shot"- turns out it kinda was. haha.

Seems very, very interesting. can't wait to read it. Literally. So i've already started. And while i love it, and it has a bunch of jokes and irony~ I will say this outright: Franken Fran is NOT for people under the ages of... let's say 13. (normal people would say 18, but i'm 14, so this is my excuse. ^^) It's not for before bedtime if you're under 21, (it's 4 am right now, i'm so screwed) and i wouldn't read this if you have no stomach for gore. It's not even gore that makes me need to say this (come on, we all read gory manga sometimes) and it's not even that it's classified as 'horror' (All manga -except this one- that i've read that are classified as horror have made me fail to see why they are classified as such) it's more that this manga is a class of its own, and will give kids, teens, pre-teens, (whatever you call yourself to feel mature) cry during their nightmares at night. (okay, i may have made very slight exaggeration here, but i meant what i said about the 'PG 13' thing. seriously. if anyone under 13 gets ahold of this manga, they will be scarred for LIFE. you'll understand as you read on. ;) (but please take my warning seriously)

Nobody get me wrong. This was a cute shoujo. I would have loved it if I hadn't gone on a manga binge earlier in the year. The easiest manga to get ahold of? Typical shoujos. Not trashy, but typical as hell. So... I've seen a lot.

This story wasn't typical per say... but midway through I just got a little skeptical. Don't blame the story, it was me. Enjoy it. It was nice.

very unexpected ending, and even if it was short, I like it. read it. =p

Okay, i just wanna say that, at the begining this is a really fun and awesome manga, and then some twists that are completely unexpected (at least to me) come in, and we see some really interesting stuff. I mean, if i think back now, to when i was in the middle of the manga, I would think that i wouldn't exactly be able to fully figure out the ending. Now, if i think about the ending, and look back... if someone had told me the actual ending as a prediction (while i was in the middle of the manga) I would have thought they were spinning wild tales. But the entire manga really works. It's amaizngly awesome. ^^

I just had to show a part of a review on the manga here, just fits so well:
"Story: At it's core it's basic shoujo manga fare. But there's enough comedy thrown in to keep things shaken up and doing what they're supposed to. There's a few surprises and of course you're going to want to punch most of the main male characters for being epic retards. But it kept me reading to the end, and I'm not 'supposed' to like this stuff. :p I'll even fess up and admit I cried during a couple parts... but don't go calling me a girly-man... they were manly tears of...uhm...GAR and vinegar or something. <_<"

seemed really kool. plan to read... eventually. =p- UPDATE (not that anyone will read it =p): okay, so i've started reading this, and it ROCKS!!!! it's pretty original, and i LOVE it!!!! ^^ olmg i can't believe mangafox has only 8 chapters!!! > < well, simple scans has only 8 chapters, so it kinda can't be helped. =p let me just say that after finishing all 8, it's going on my favorite mangas list, AND that the main character (shin, kujou (kujou is the first name- if u didn't get that =p)) was on my fave manga characters list by the 3rd chapter. =p READ it. it is AWESOME!!! ^^ - so glad i started it, and that i can start to shorten my plan to read list. ^^ i am SO happy right now!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =) ^^

TOTALLY reading this one next. as in BEFORE i read any other manga today or tomorrow. ^^ UPDATE- ended up reading it today(/tomorrrow- it's 4:37 in the mornning^^) it was AWESOME for those of you who like shoujo so... read it. ^^ and i mean the enjoyable type... not the means something really significant type. i mean, there is a moral-ish thingy, but all manga have that. =p

just wanna read it.... yeah my plan to read list is really getting long... and just when i started reading some of them too.... UPDATE: finshed. awesome! read it. =p i laughed a bunch of times too ^^

actually liked this one, but for some reason the girl irked me at the very end.

...Hwang Mi Ri is a genius... but not a genius. I loved the manga, don't get me wrong, but the guy who got the girl was the guy i DIDN'T want to get the girl!!! i wanted the other guy!!! WAAAAAAA!!!! =( it's always that way with books and manga and me!!!!! =(( waaaaa!!! i'll get over it... eventually.... *sniffle* but i loved the manga.... ida.... naru....shinna...fatty...junha... In reality... I think that if i was in a good mood right now, i'd give this manga a 9, or even a 10. It's just that something about the ending made me give it an 8. plain fact of life. a) so shoujo-y, and i mean almost typical. b) I wanted someone else to 'get the girl'. c) everything just turned out uber happy... and for some reason it didn't sit well with me today. / *sigh* WHY must i always want the underdog to get the girl???

UPDATE: okay, just finished it and... the ending really surprised me, was really typical, and also didn't satisfy me yet satisfied me. it was good and i liked it. I know it's kinda the point of smut manga, but i would've liked it more had the two main characters not been obsessed with sex. =p Oh, and i kinda wanted yukko to kick yagami (?) (gosh, i can't get the names right after 3 whole chapters...? -_-) for messing around with her where they were in one of the chapters. jerk. =p (you'll know what i mean when you get there- that is, if you read this =p)

this manga could be awesome. AWESOME. but, it's only three long chapters (they really should be called volumes) and the story's only half-told. SERIOUSLY. I mean, i finished, and ended up going to the extra story. I had to go back to make sure i wasn't in the second chapter!

Basically, it was great, and then it abruptly ended. no, it didn't end. not at all. there was just nothing else to read. It's like stopping cinderella when she was about to go to the party. i mean, SERIOUSLY?! i'm just pissed off. There was so much potential...!

see... they mentioned the incest factor too late in the manga... i get that it's to get people to like their love... and it worked... but i feel decieved... and i really liked it too! so... i guess i like it. Despite the incest factor...

gah, the ending. the ENDING. WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! why??? gah, i hate the bastard. read. you'll get it. \ /

it was so sad and touching... (well, it was sad. but still!!) so touching... i loved it.

so hated how they made her forget everything in the end. i was all NO!!!!!! SHE CAN STILL BE VAMPIRE!!!! =( loved it!!

it was cute. these days, i'm realizing that the only differences between most short shoujo manga are the backstories. everything else at least follows a pattern. and sometimes even the backstories follow a common pattern.
but this was still cute.

It was good at the begining... but then it got all dramatic and stuff (and not the good dramatic) and then i just kinda... didn't like it... i mean, it wasn't the expected, but it got annoying. I don't know. just sappy, kind of. either way, it's not a favorite.

I loved it, but it lacked development, and really was a 'quicky' by definition. or at least a short story by definition. In manga form that is... anyway, I loved it, but at the end i was actually expecting a new chapter, but that was it, so i go and i'm back at the title page and i'm all '...huh?' The ending didn't sadden me with its incompleteness, it actually fit in the weirdest way, but... I actually kind of wish for more...

Good manga, but i had my doubts about kiriya from about... the third chapter on... and I never would have been rid of thos doubts if it weren't for an extra chapter so... you just got away kiriya, don't let it happen again... =p loved the manga, and even the extras were great...

I actually LOVED this manga, and didn't understand when it ended that it had actually... ended. I mean, it had a satisfying ending, but my brain couldn't comprehend at the time that the fact that i wasn't going forward meant the manga was over. *sigh* i wish there was more... but it's probably better this way....
