I'm 28 years old. I'm a housewife because, you know, that's what you end up doing when you have degrees is both Japanese and Forensic Analysis but are married to a doctor-in-training who, as part of your original girlfriend contract, let you know that you would be expected to handle all housework, cooking, grocery shopping, and emotional support, leaving you with only midnight till 3pm on weekdays as possible available hours. Given that being a housewife coincides nicely with my desire to watch anime and play video games without worrying about things like how will I manage to pay the rent, it's a mutually beneficial relationship.
Um, likes, dislikes, and hobbies...
Likes: I like pretty anime, but pretty is just a filler word for "done in an art style I personally find visually appealing" and does not refer to being girly. I also like shows where people die. And magical girl shows. Other than that, I'll give anything pretty a chance. ... I'll agree to give something not pretty a chance if someone makes a good enough argument for it and hits me at just the right time, but it's not easy.
I also like fanfiction - particularly Harry Potter and Naruto fanfiction, but I'll give most things a chance if it looks good and is for a series I've watched/read. Or is a crossover with one at least.
Dislikes: People who use particularly terrible grammar/English (assuming, of course, they're using English in the first place). And bugs. And bison/buffalo masks (don't ask).
Hobbies: Watching anime, reading fanfiction, cooking, and wandering around /r/anime pretending it substitutes for friends. That sounds more depressing every time I read it lulz. It's not really meant to be though.
Rating System
1) I would happily cast Crucio - assuming that were a real thing - on the creators of this and maintain it until they lost their minds because they clearly weren't doing anything with them anyway.
2) It was pretty freaking bad, but not so bad that I want to do permanent damage to anyone for making it.
3) This was bad, but a part of me didn't mind.
4) I don't really think it was good, but I enjoyed it well enough anyway.
5) This was a very average show. I may or may not have liked it, and I may or may not think it's any good, but that doesn't change how average it was.
6) This was still a pretty average show, but I liked it enough that I'd feel bad giving it a five, but I can't give it a seven because I'd feel bad for my other sevens for having to associate with it.
7) This was an enjoyable show. Nothing special, but I definitely liked it and thought it did what it was trying to do fairly well.
8) I liked this show a decent amount, but I don't quite feel like it measures up to my other nines. Still, it's special enough to rate a place higher than a seven so here we are.
9) This is a fantastic show. I think it's incredibly well made and I loved it. I'd rate it a ten, but I want to keep that number special, so some shows have to get nines instead.
10) This show is everything I could have wanted from a show and probably a good bit more. There's also probably either despair or, let's face it, time travel (or both). Because even though I don't think of myself as someone who finds time travel particularly appealing, I can't deny that many of my favorite works (and all of my favorite anime) involve it to some degree.
