I hope you enjoy them. I wasn't sure what to go with since I saw you had a lot of action high up on your list but of course u had "no gore" in your post. So I figured I'd give you one higher-intensity recommendation, and then another one on the opposite side of the spectrum, so that way you'd have something no matter what you're in the mood for. Both are very much girl-oriented and have (imo) good character writing, so hopefully should be in your comfort zone.
If you're ever open to longer anime I can recommend a bunch more stuff. A lot of the best girl-oriented stuff is loooong.
