Dear Evansfight,
Thank you very much for your secret santa recommendations. I've started watching Gankutsuou, and whilst plot wise its a slow start, I really love the unique and trippy art style! I'll also watch FLCL soon once I've downloaded it. I've always avoided watching it since the sort of coming of age narrative didn't seem too appealing, but its only 6 episodes and I might as well check it out. Again, thank you very much and I hope you have a pleasant year.
It's been a while, but thanks so much for the Secret Santa recommendation, I'll let you know what I thought of it, but being a SOL I'm sure it will be great.
Hellooo!! Thank you for the Secret Santa recommendation! Although I have known all of the titles, I have never considered any of them to watch in the not-too-distant-future. I completed Fate/Zero and I enjoyed it so much! It contains almost everything that I like in anime - well-shown characters, some magic & elements of action = <3. I paid special attention to the characters, I'm waiting for more background because I think it's very interesting. I'm going to watch the whole series soon. Of course, the other anime were included in my plan-to-watch list too.
What up, Secret Santa! Thank you for the manga recs, mate! I've checked them out a bit and once I finish the book I'm working on currently I am going to start working on Spirit Circle. That one captured my interest the most, though, Honey and Clover is definitely high on my "to read" list lol. Thanks again, pray your holidays were happy, and may your year be blessed. See you space cowboy...
Hi, thanks for being my Secret Santa! I really enjoyed ef: A Tale of Memories and am watching the sequel now too. The show was slow to start for the first half but really picked up after the midpoint. I loved the story between Chihiro and Renji and enjoyed the use of symbolism in the show as well as the stylish directing typical of Studio Shaft. I also liked the interconnectedness between the characters and also how "dense" the writing of the anime was, as in each scene seemed to move the characters and story along well. I plan to check out your other recommendation, Tekkon Kinkreet, later too. I hope you are having a great start to 2023, and thanks again for the gifts!
hello secret santa
I've watched some episodes of « ping pong »
I love the psychedelic graphic style, with rough drawing and box cutting images
I enjoy the nihilist side of Smile and when he call the super hero to become stronger during matches
I like the eccentric side of coach Koizumi
I like Wenga speaking chinese instead of japanese
I like the opening music
The show is pretty good
;-)
