The romance and comedic elements were mediocre but passable. However, the action was awful, very repetitive and bland. But the story and characters, I feel, more than make up for that and so a solid 7/10 feels fair.
Have you seen Nakaimo? The cover has a bunch of girls in wedding dresses. I saw this years ago, but I don't remember a single thing about it since it's generic. Also the animation and budget is somehow as good as Tonikawa despite being made in 2012?
Blend S is kinda nice.
Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru!
Kiniro Mosaic
The main character, Nasa, is a massive pervert and acts like a creep at times (not all the time, of course). Read what he says. How is that wholesome/ cute? Or, how is that better than any other slice-of-life show?
"Girls are this soft?! Human hands are this warm... and feel this good? This is marriage?! It's fantastic!"

They literally made a generic rom-com anime and basically added a "cute photo filter" over it... and everyone buys into this show. It's mostly newcomers to anime, at least I hope so because veterans who've seen at least a few anime would come to realize that this isn't a good show.
Kaguya-sama is a great show, and I see it is on your list. The comedy in that show is amazing because the show doesn't half-ass the comedy like Tonikawa. The show is built around the comedy, whereas Tonikawa is built around the supposed "cuteness". Anything outside of "being cute"... is just slice-of-life, which I don't understand how that makes it a favourite show for you.
Not trying to hate. That's just my opinion. And it's just one anime. Re:Zero is a favourite of mine, and it seems like you like it too.
