So much anime to watch. I've watched so much already, and trying to remember everything is a task in itself. I add stuff as I remember it. I need to go through my brother's stack of DVDs and write down all of the series I've watched, and how many episodes.
I haven't bothered to add things like Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblade, Yu-gi-oh, Dragonball or Sailor Moon that I've seen on TV. I've only caught episodes on TV sporadically, so I wouldn't know what episodes I've seen. I plan to rewatch everything from the start anyway.
Some series I've seen only part and can't remember up to where I've seen, so for now they're on my On Hold list
I'm a bit worried that one day I'll go crazy adding everything you can add on this site to my Plan to Watch/Read lists, because I do plan on watching and reading everything eventually. It's a shame that they don't include Japanese movies and television series here as well as anime and manga.

But, i'm not going to condemn the guys at KyoAni for doing something different.
As far as shows that follow a certain formula. You're absolutely right, to an extent. However, if a show executes this "formula" well (which rarely happens) then i'll consider it really good.
They did the broadcast order thing last season. That was pretty odd anyway.
The funny thing is: By the time Disappearance starts this will probably have been forgotten by the same people who write those dumb one sentence reviews.
