And i was always wondering what will happen when Noah will meet the other girl! Will he actually fall in love with her and leave Raeliana!! But it was so so good! I love stories with angst and a lot of yearning lol. Oh and another couple i love in manhwa is For My Derelict Favorite. If you haven't read it yet pls do! It is currently on hiatus 90+ chapters and the other has previously gone on breaks but doesnt take that long to come back. It is such a great story. When it was ongoing, i usually let like 10 chapters come out then read everything. In this manhwa the female lead really loves the second male lead of a novel she loves but in the story, he gets really mistreated by the two other main characters. The main male lead who is his bestfriend and the other who is the main female lead. And he dies when the two most important people of his life gets together. And when our female lead wakes up in the novel, she will do her best to save her favorite character and not only that but take revenge on everyone who wrong him. It is so good. Do check it out!

I'm so glad i picked up Crown Princess and kept reading. I believe it was newly released and webtoon was promoting it and others. Maybe they were giving out coins too. So i read it and fell in love with it. I'm currently at chapter 63 but i had picked it up after months. And now i was hit with a love confession and marriage proposal. Hahahaha

Yeah i do believe Hanako will move on and say bye to his friends. And it will be a very bittersweet ending. But he deserves it. We do not know how he passed away and there is so much more that we don't know about him. He just masks it away with his silly smile and jokes.

Yeah my sister told me the manga art is way better than the anime. I would like to read it someday too. But yeah when it is nearing the end would be the best.

Speaking of completed famous manhwas, have you read Why Raeliana ended up at the duke's mansion yet? My secret santa recommended it to me last year and i had so much fun bingeing it.:D

I love the crown prince and Hwayeong. They make a great pair. Also Hwayeong's twin and her best friend's story ended so tragically. God, i wish her twin brother would be stll be here. Such a sad story.

Stupid and childish... i never thought that way. To be honest, i tried Hanako kun as soon as it aired 5 years ago. Because i was drawn to the beautiful artstyle and especially the colors! And i had so much fun with each ep. The whole mystery of this school and the Seven mysteries truely was amazing! To think that it finally is back. I have already watched ep 1. And i am so so happy to see them back!! Amane is such a cinnamon roll!!

My sister used to read the manga and she told me that the story gets quite dark later on. Its a shame people think that way. But its their loss, let us fans enjoy its come back!

True, manhwas are lost when you have to read them weekly. Unfortunately there are so many i have been reading like this. Sometimes i just wait for months then pick it up back again to enjoy it fully but it also doesn't help when the author goes on hiatus...

Crown Princess Scandal i just love how shy the crown prince is. Such a tsundere! And Hwa-Yeong is such a tomboy, climbing walls and not hesitating to throw punches at the crown prince. I love their dynamic. Also the little brother is so sweet. 100/100 manhwa!

Yeah it's some absurd reasoning lmao.
Oh yes I understand that issue of not remembering or understanding story or plot or not getting into the proper headspace for watching lol but it is what it is haha.

Their reasoning for not including Scott pilgrim was actually wildly criticized. They said since it's not targeted toward Japanese audience and because it's not a Japanese source material, it's not anime lol. Even though they have stuff like Afro Samurai, Yasuke, and Canon busters.
Yeah I can understand that binge feeling but I honestly think watching a show weekly is an amazing experience in of its own. You bond with the show and find it's faults aswell. When you binge a show, sometimes you will love it so much despite it having major flaws but if you watch weekly then you'll figure out stuff like pacing and story elements since you watch one episode per week you have more time to take all of it in ,compared to when you're binging where you just go to the next episode without waiting a week and without the suspense building up.
Both are different experiences actually and equally fun!

Haha, Yeah you're right, I just find manga way more convenient. Especially sometimes if I play some music in the background I can get really invested.

I'm actually the opposite, ever since I've been reading manga this year now I can't watch anime. I have to sit through 24 mins of an anime episode when I can binge read an entire season's worth of manga in a day lol. But I'm still keeping up with seasonals atleast. My goal for next year is to read even more manga. Anime is still my main priority but manga is just so fast and efficient, especially if you live a busy life then you can read manga at workplace or even in your car etc. While an anime episode needs your undivided attention. Although both are equally good.
Oof, thought you'd know about The Horizon. I personally don't use anilist much, I do have an account there and keep it updated but I prefer MAL's database. It's just more authentic and I like MAL haha.

I just read my first Manhwa and it was The Horizon. Although it was short yet it was immersive and thought provoking. You must have read it I'm sure.
I managed to read it all in an hour, Wanted to gauge my speed. You were right. Manhwa is so much faster to read since so many pages are just actions and less dialogue.

Oohh, maybe I should try reading a Manhwa to test my reading speed then.
Hahahaha lately I've been reading a lot of manga so my speed has increased, Read quite a lot of manga this year actually. Anime is still my main focus but manga are pretty amazing ngl.
I've read some manga like Claymore and Trigun which are absolutely amazing!

I actually really liked the TOG anime but when I looked at the source material, I was somewhat baffled lol.
How is Manhwa reading compared to Manga? I can read like 5-6 volumes per day or more if I have free time per day, not sure how much words per page Manhwa have or how fast people read them.
But since it's in colour I'm assuming it's much faster? Let me know!
