What is the difference between regular updates and live versions? Played some of both in different versions but couldn't figure out.
Sometimes a live version has a new girl in the main camp that you can fight whenever (I assume for testing)
BTW, who opened all the areas in milking base? I only found keys from milking room and area to the right of reception. Also passed 2 or 3 check near closed rooms.

As it happens, the cunt can turn up at any time and its game fucking over. The game is now an inaccessible, RNG generator countdown to an insta-loss.

idk whats going on but for the past two versions whenever i try to go to the city my game breaks and forces me into the skill trainer and i cant get anywhere else

You using external stuff like UnRen? I had the same problem since I never play vanilla. I basically uninstalled most of UnRen and now only use the rollback feature + URM and it's been working alright for me.
Yeah, I really hope this event gets a complete redesign because I can stomach mashing, memory game, and a circle thing, but this is just math and it's taking way too long.

I haven't tried it but maybe you can pick that one ability at the start of the game which removes random encounters?

still holding up for a hero
Any tips for beginners to distribuite stat points, what to do with gold and managing stamina during fight? I've grinded for a good 4 hours now but I feel like I'm running in circles at this point and I'm probably missing something, typical run last about 10-15 days, then my addictions are too high, they cost too much to lower and it end with some bad encouter, gold is super scarce and stuff is expensive so I don't know.
longest run was about 20 days but I got a ton of boosts from fountain and potions events, are those random? Because I thnk I saw a tooltip mentioning visting zones twice but I skipped it too fast.
My typical run seems to be winning fights until the city is unlocked. then I buy the backpack and try to drop the gloves and exp ring, 2 star difficulty zones have opponents that keep stripping you so I can't even progress without having to go back buying clothes and wasting more gold, all while addictions gets higher.
I chose normal difficulty and it seems like I can't change it now, also can't save so just have to rely on autos with some runs endings that coul've been avoided with a simple reload or rollback button.
I get it, it's supposed to get smoother as I unlock tree skills but I generally feel like I'm supper inefficient at the moment, reading here but 80+ pages is a lot and some older stuff seems outdated.

Distributing stat points > Skip life and lust, make an equal distribution among remaining stats. (Str/agility/corruption and addiction resistance.)
Fountain boosts are random but i recommend skipping them because bad things can also come from that fountains.
Potion events are happening after defeating 2 or 3 enemies in a row. (2 or 3, can't remember) I recommend getting the perk prevents potion side effects.
Backpack is necessary but if you grind real long enough you can unlock it on permanent stat tree (somewhere at higher left end) and have it in the beginning of a run. Forget the gloves and take +5 unarmed damage perk at the beginning. Any weapon without a positive side effect and at least +8/10 damage is useless.
Addictions will rise, yes. That is the thing of the game, you know. Just keep shemale option off so you can deal with one less addiction...and don't play that money making thing in the inn. It will just steal your time and sooner or later raise your addictions.
In combat, as long as enemy have more hp than you can take with a light attack just use your heavy attack (you may wanna take 1.5 to 1.8x damage on heavy hits starting perk) Don't let your stamina get lower than 50-60% I always use heavy attack for 1 turn then rest at next turn. For me if my stamina is lower than 85% after that rest i consider a second rest. Your attack strength always more effective when you have almost full stamina.
Unlike many other games in here this one is one of these few real games. A hardcore and an annoying one. If you can accept that, i bet you will be able to get better with some more patience.

Edit: Oh and be careful about timing of boss battles, don't start a fight with them as long as your char is not ready and you are fully prepared. Some bosses does not follow their own zones' difficulty rating. Some other enemies as well.
Alright, I'll try some of these things later tonight, going from another comment it should be 2 encounters and going for the third.
And yes it's grindy but I'm kinda enjoying the trial and error stuff.
