I got into anime around 12 years ago. Though I had already been watching anime like Naruto, DBZ, Prince of Tennis, etc. even before that on TV without knowing they were anime. Later I got online on the anime community and came across even more shows, manga and now even web comics.

I have watched too many anime to keep count. As a result, I have reached a sort of saturation point. Now, I follow just a few anime per season.

As such I am always open to suggestions of good anime I haven't watched.

My rating system:

I just recently got around to re-scoring my whole list as most of them were above 7 and it was harder to differentiate between anime in the upper categories.

1 - shit. I don't know how I even finished watching this.
2 - trash anime but has some redeemable points
3 - still trash but has parts I like more
4 - watchable but not that good
5 - average. The default grade. These anime had both good and bad points.
6 - good but not great. Don't care for more.
7 - pretty good. I may want to watch more.
8 - awesome anime, want to watch more
9 - outstanding but had very few shortcomings
10 - masterpiece. I loved every second of this.

And a decimal .5 for anime which could go either way.
