Oh man it's been years since I wrote that, it's a bit cringe to think about it haha. I guess what I meant was that the one-offs don't compound into anything and they totally could've. As they stand they aren't awful at least, they are just kind of there with their episode-long arcs. The main three roommates almost never play off each other in any dramatic way since they are too detached from the plot, so they focus time on Diana and Chariot instead for the serious episodes. I just chalk most of the issues on Yoshinari not really being a writer and as a result the staff struggling with series composition and structure. I haven't kept up with his output so it's hard for me to say anything else after all this time.
