I think it'll always be Monster (anime) and Hajime no Ippo (manga). The former played a formative part in how I view storytelling in media and what animation was capable of. I'd always been a big fan of Ippo since I first saw it (nearly half of S1 in 2013/14), though it wasn't until 2020 when I binged the manga and fell for so much of what had developed with the narrative, characters, artstyle, etc.

Got it as part of a Secret Santa and it was either Apothecary Diaries or an anime I had seen before.

Fortunately, it's pretty good. Was hesitant about the whole historical drama being as chibi and colourful as it is, but the lead grew on me fast. I even feel inclined to read the LN once I finish S1 (& S2 when it airs).

That's good to hear. I'm envious that you are still having summer breaks! The working life takes a lot out of you and you don't have the liberty of truly re-energizing. Unfortunately I have been very busy ever since I starting work as a doctor so I haven't seen or read anything at all. The last time I experienced an amazing piece of art was reading the umineko vn a few months back (and re-reading it!). Very difficult to recommend, but so worth it by the end.

That movie is really great. You don't need know Kitaro for watching it. It is more a adult tone movie.

For Ghibli museum, I hear you can't take picture. I will probably take some marchandise of Jojo, Dragon quest, Hellsing, Twelve Kingdom and etc...

uh..im in early S2 and i love the non-seriousness of the SHOW HAHAH...every supernatural show ive seen, TVD, TW, The Originals..and what else- they all were rather very thrilling...BTVS is somehwhat like a sitcom so its chill !!

The anime is so pretty, but I wanna test a theory and see if I prefer the manga.
