True, and it could have been so much worse than a rabbit.
Are you sure? It feels like someone is rummaging around in my mind.
Yep, she morphed into a devil.
He might just slip and fall the next time he takes a shower.
Nah, it's pure, unbiased coincidence. Do you want a crispy duck bonbon?
We should have picked a different age to spawn into. Or maybe a different planet altogether.
I mean, my watching pace is all over the place, so if I were to start One Piece, or the remake, I might never finish it. Unless I drop everything else and just watch One Piece.
Yeah, but the risk is way too high.
Sure, sure. It would be a great help if I could get another set of fingerprints on potential evidence.
Not the tallest she says while towering above me.
You're just that good at persuasion.
Is there at least a fabled beach episode?
I could lend you my tablet.
Time to ignore them even harder from now on! Eh he he.
Yes, 100%. They should cast you for the role of lead delinquent in a live-action movie. I bet you already walk around with a baseball bat or iron pipe all the time. The fashion sense is most likely the same as well. :)))
Ooooooh. I only knew the other version of this meme.
What if I wear a 30-meter-long lightning rod on my head? Given, it is a bit uncomfortable.
Cool, another season of Solo Leveling, just a few more years until I can binge the whole show. :) Anyway, the song of the opening grew on me with time. That said, I feel like it mismatched the animation once the action picked up speed. A solid 7/10.
Nope. :D It's kind of funny how fucked in the head both of them are. I actually like how the author didn't try to romanticize the Yakuza for once and fully commits to how horrible their "romance" is. Also, I like the art style. My only concern is that it might get boring with time. That aspect started to creep in at the beginning of episode 5, but the introduction of the new character kind of saved it. Just turn the brain off and watch a mega toxic relationship. A 6 out of 10 so far, but it can still easily go either way.
Don't sound so disappointed. A rabbit is cute too, no?
Or you can read my mind.
Well, you are free to choose any devil you like.
Not dead yet.
Now that you pointed it out. Yeah, what a weird coincidence that everything is crispy duck flavored.
It would be pretty cool. And you would have one less problem to worry about when visiting other planets. Artificial eyes would be amazing, but I doubt we would ever reach that level of technology without some massive breakthrough down the line.
Supposedly there are fan edits out there that cut down a lot of the filler stuff.
Because we just established that it might kill you. That's a no-no.
I am glad we avoided a horrible accident. Just to be safe, I should chuck those bags into an industrial furnace.
Easy to say for you.
You make a fair point. Fine, no prison sentence for you. Enjoy your freedom.
But that's just how life is. I'll get over it eventually.
At the cost of one tablet.
I just decided to ignore all kinds of advice.
Yeah, because you were the biggest dog in the class. The top dog. The queen of the food bullying chain.
A horrible design choice. Uuh, nothing comes to mind; what exactly happened to Majima?
Ain't that the truth.
Yep. :D
Song is ok. Not my go-to choice, but it could be worse.
I sure am. Calling it a romance sure is an interesting choice. I guess they aren't wrong technically. I also saw that you gave it a 3/10. Why's that?
It’s so frustrating when you find an anime you really enjoy, and it only has a short season, and then years later, even though the manga is already finished, they still haven’t announced a continuation. And then you think about picking up the manga to continue the story, only to find out it hasn’t been officially released in your country. So sad. :(
Yes! I agree 100%!
I finished Kino no Tabi! What a pleasant surprise that anime was. Truly a hidden gem.
The last episode hit me hard… Another one I wish had more episodes. :(
I loved it so much that I watched the prequel and sequel movies, and I think I'll give the new version a try too.
I also finished Dungeon Meshi! And even though there are some heavier moments with Falin, it's really such a silly anime, and I absolutely loved that. And since I laugh easily at anything, I had a blast watching it.
I agree with you, the second half was even better than the first! Can’t wait for the next season!
I started Golden Kamuy yesterday, and so far, I've only watched the first episode, but it already looks like something I'll enjoy. I can't picture much comedy from the tone of the first episode yet, but I'm excited to see more.
Unfortunately, my free time is up, so it'll take me a bit longer to finish, but I hope to catch up before the 5th season comes out.
It’s tough, especially if you watch a lot of seasonals, but somehow I managed. Haha
How about you? Did you get a lot of recommendations? I hope you liked yours as much as I liked mine. :p
Are you watching a lot this season? Got a favorite yet, or have you dropped any?
Have a great week! ^^
It's time for the big reveal. It's a... rabbit. 🪄
I'm aiming for minimal effort.
How about a Dorohedoro devil?
Why not? Should we pretend that he is dead?
Yes. Crispy duck lollipops, crispy duck pop rocks, crispy duck chocolate, and crispy duck M&Ms.
Now that is a surprising choice. Is the air bad where you live, or do you go diving a lot? Or it would come in pretty handy if you are a firefighter. My number one choice, and it's not even close, would be artificial eyes.
Besides YouTube clips, I have seen nothing of One Piece, so I have no idea how the quality holds up.
Alright, you convinced me. I'll let it rest. For now. :)
If that's the case, rest assured, I won't take a chunk of your soul.
The bags are full of cockroaches. Surely you don't want me to open them.
One of the tragedies of life. I am envious of your 3-meter tallness.
It's a little bit funny. Like, the tiniest bit.
Disappointed doesn't even scratch it anymore.
But you got rid of the dust, which was the goal from the beginning.
I know that it's not!!!
Not everywhere, I think. And probably only with the younger generations.
Is he? Well, the main audience is most likely teenagers, and they like their floppy-tongued psychos. Little side note: it always makes me cringe whenever a so-called "psycho" is liking their blade/knife in anime.
Absolutely. :D
Look at it this way, if I get hit by a lightning bolt I probably won't have to worry about anything ever again. :)
I'll find a few good ones eventually.
Also, I wanted to ask what you think about this OP. Visually, it is stunning.
If you are really lucky, I might pull a duck.
Yesn't. One more poor excuse for the road. :)))
Fine by me. Let's shorten it to just devil. :D
Don't forget about Ayanokoji.
Favour? Or flavour? Anyway, crispy duck.
Ah, a kindred spirit. Nothing beats cold, hard steel. What would your first upgrade be?
But do we really need a remake of One Piece? Talk about milking the cash cow.
It is quite the rare sight. That's what makes it so much more alluring.
How? A soul is ethereal and I am pretty sure it is inside you.
Yes, yes. Paint, not blood. Silly me. Anyway, thank you for helping me, it is always such a drag to carry those weirdly body-shaped bags around. Especially if they are still squirming around.
That's probably a pipe dream.
Great.
It's for my own amusement.
Alright, I am going to ask someone else. :)
The important part is that there will be no dust left.
Na-ah!
I guess. Back in my school days, you got bullied for stuff like that.
Absolutely. Horrible levels of cringe.
But I am already nice enough. :]
Everything may be solved with enough lightning bolts.
But yeah, definitely not months lol. Or if you're writing longer, more thoughtful replies and the other person sends back a super short reply every single time.
But yeah, like I said, it’s fine if they take a while to reply now and then because life happens. No problem if that happens occasionally and not all the time. That’s completely understandable! And let’s be honest, it's MAL comments we're talking about. It’s not like there's some strict time limit or anything. But still, when someone consistently takes ages to reply and seems interested in keeping the conversation going, it just doesn’t make sense to me. I mean, if they’re bored or just not in the mood to chat, that’s totally fine too, no hard feelings. But if they are interested, why the constant delay?
And yeah, what you said is also very annoying! It’s probably even worse when you’re taking the time to write thoughtful replies, only to get super short responses in return. It’s not about needing a detailed essay back, but something that at least matches the vibe or effort would be nice!
So yeah, I get what you’re saying, and I don’t think you’re crazy either xD Wanting a bit more engagement or consistency isn’t too much to ask, especially when it’s just basic communication
Thank you! ^^ Oh really? Guess I can feel a bit special, right? xD
I believe taking a break now and then is necessary. I actually had a big break from anime, which lasted from mid 2016 to late 2017. Honestly, I have no idea why or how it even happened, but for some reason, I just wasn’t interested in the medium during that time. What’s even funnier is that I was still using MAL like normal xD Have you ever had a break from anime or manga like that?
Lately, I’ve been playing a lot of Phasmophobia, either solo or with friends, and I really enjoy it. As someone who enjoys horror games, this one feels so unique. Instead of being chased by the "enemy" and trying to survive, you’re the one actively "chasing" it, and that makes it super engaging. Believe it or not, some moments can even be very funny :P
Actually, it's not that you're not being chased at all, it's a horror game after all. But unlike most horror games, this one is more about strategy rather than trying to survive.
In the meantime, I'm "addicted" to Hollow Knight, which is a nightmare of a game because it requires a tremendous amount of patience (and skill), but it's a pretty good game nonetheless.
A while ago, I finished Stray, and I completely fell in love with it! Not gonna lie, as a cat person who adores cats more than any other animal, I was kind of an "easy target" for this game. But honestly, it’s so much more than just a cute cat adventure. It’s an incredible experience with a dark sci-fi setting and so much depth behind those adorable moments. I don’t want to spoil anything in case you haven’t played it, but the way the game explores sensitive aspects of human life without using any dialogue is just amazing.
Before all these games, I was playing Counter Strike 2 and eFootball, which I stopped playing for 2 months now, mostly because they felt repetitive and boring, not because they're bad. Well, eFootball is not that good actually, but yeah xD.
Btw, what kind of books are you reading?
I don't think Fotsuan feels superior for seeing flaws in your favorites, it’s just that he tends to be overly vocal. What makes it even “funnier” is how extreme his feelings are. He either loves something or absolutely hates it, with no in between xD.
He can’t just say "I watched that, I didn’t like it because <add reasons here>". Instead, he’s going to persistently dive into it as much as possible, often in a way that not gonna lie, can feel a bit toxic at times. He’ll go into extreme detail, even when no one asked for it :P I’m not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes, you’ve got to “read the room”.
When you’re talking to someone with a completely different opinion, and you already know that neither side is going to budge, it’s only natural not to have much to talk about, or even feel like talking at all. That said, there’s no denying that he’s a great guy, and I’d love to meet him again someday, especially since it’s been years since we last saw each other.
Blue Box: I'm afraid Chi will be Taiki's girlfriend in the end, but I'm still hoping for Hina. I mean, how can someone not root for her after she confessed to Taiki in the swing? That was such a great moment! <3 Blue Lock: I read the manga after the end of season 1 out of curiosity. Not much, just a few chapters. Other than that no, I'm not reading it. Orb: I really don't know how I feel after episode 14... Like...What was that? Why? ._.
As you can probably tell from my watching list, my winter 2025 picks are a few, and that’s for two reasons. First, not many new shows this season seem promising. Second, there are a lot of sequels from titles I either haven’t watched or ended up dropping.
This season doesn’t look all that exciting tbh, but I’m still keeping an eye out for hidden gems. Maybe there’s a good seasonal I’ve overlooked.
The Apothecary Diaries is likely to be my #1 winter seasonal, which is both a good and a bad thing. Bad because I’m not very optimistic that anything else will surpass it, but good because it’s such a strong anime! I really enjoyed binge watching the first season back in August.
Sakamoto Days is making me so mad. It’s been years since I last came across an anime where Sugita voices the main character, AND HE BARELY TALKS. Like, why would they do this to me? :'(
As for Medalist, it’s in a weird spot for me. It could either become one of my favorite sports anime or end up as something mediocre and forgettable. I’m not sure if that makes any sense, but that’s how I feel about it xD
Btw, since you’re watching more stuff than me, is there any winter seasonal you’d recommend?
That’s so true. There are a lot of good shows out there you could watch and enjoy, instead of forcing yourself to finish something you don’t like. I’ve never really understood people who stick to a strict no-drop policy, even when they hate what they’re watching. Why put yourself through that when there are so many other amazing anime waiting to be discovered?
I get that some people feel like they have to finish every show they start, maybe out of principle or to give it a "chance" but I feel like that can take all the fun out of it. What’s your take on that?
Yeah unfortunately it is -_-
It was quite an experience, and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought. I don't know how it is for other countries, but here, it's a big waste of time and money.
It’s a waste of time because most of the service is spent doing things like carrying random things and moving them around, cleaning, wiping, and mopping the floors of old rusty buildings, tasks that don’t actually teach a soldier the skills they’d need in case of a war. And it’s a waste of money because there’s so much you have to buy before you even start, which can be really tough for people who aren’t in a stable financial position. On top of that, you’ll end up spending a lot of money during your service, especially when you’re outside the base.
The service in Greece is more of a chore rather than actual training, and this is not an exaggeration.
That said, this only applies to regular citizens like me and doesn’t include those who pursue a career in the military, whether by studying at a military academy or by voluntarily applying to become permanent personnel.
Thank you so much for your New Year and birthday wishes, much appreciated! ^^ That said, I owe you an apology for not wishing you on your birthday. I feel bad for not noticing :/
In any case, I hope you had an amazing birthday filled with joy and love! 😊
Oh my. Now I am being hit with performance anxiety. Hopefully I don't pull out a pigeon instead.
It's a poor excuse for not agreeing 100% with my former statement. :)
Since you are such a daredevil, you are way better prepared to handle such risks.
How about we put the Grinch in your harem?
Yeah, he seems pretty nice. He even bought me some candy.
If there were absolutely no downside, I would do it in a heartbeat. Probably the same if the downsides were manageable and not too debilitating.
I mean, it would be weird if the original was still ongoing when the remake hits the screens.
Who says I enjoy being mean? I am never mean! Mean Shiro gets activated instantly whenever a duck is in danger.
Well, how exactly do I remove a part of your soul? That's the piece of the puzzle I am missing.
Nah, that wasn't unsettling at all. Hold up, can you hold this bloody machete for me real quick?
I hit a recent growth spurt, and now I am 13 cm tall. :D
As long as they are tiny, we should encounter no problems, right?
On second thought, maybe I do send you to prison.
Can't be a good show then. :)))
Just to be extra safe, you should pressure wash it.
Sacrebleu! It's nowhere near my favorite language. I don't think I even have one.
That's part of the hobby, I guess. Do you want to change that?
Rin's transformation hit peak levels of cringe. Certified b-word levels of cringe, some might say.
Why would I lie? :D
Most likely not, but perhaps Zeus will throw a lightning bolt at my problems.
Let me pull a bunny out of my hat.
In a certain way, at least.
That we will. Teeny tiny dares. :)
You are asking quite a lot of me. So much work.
Maybe I am Cupid considering how this matchmaking is going. But don't tell me you want a harem.
What's even the definition of a sin? The fella with the red skin and horns told me it is a-okay.
Good, I want to upgrade my shitty body anyway.
Yeah, although the OST probably won't be as cool. Maybe you should wait a few more years to make the decision to either start the manga or anime. :))) And then the remake will be out anyway.
It would only never end if you enjoyed it too much. And surely that wouldn't happen. Right???
I never heard of numbers before. That's a foreign word to me. So how about 27%?
Trust me, it's definitely worth it. The scenery there... it's to die for.
I mean, you are only like 1,5 meters taller than me. That's pretty much nothing.
:D
No worries. You won't be sent to prison. This time.
Is it an isekai?
I can read it perfectly fine. It must be your screen. Maybe there is some dust on it.
Eh. I wouldn't go that far.
Nah, but that's the norm, no?
Fair enough. Nagi is probably one of the likable few cast members. Did you even enjoy it when they did that cheesy psycho transformation with Rin? That reached new levels of cringe for me.
I have no plans to deny it. :)
Well, it is what it is. Can't do much about it besides shaking a fist angrily towards the sky.
Nope, it's perfectly flat.
That's only natural, since you are always right.
Yes, the tiniest of dares from now on.
How would we make it more fair?
Ayanokoji lies in the past, let's forget about him. I think Donald Duck should be more your type.
For eternity.
Why would you be scared about that? Only because I welcome our new machine gods?
Both interest me. Manga because it is pretty streamlined without much filler, and the anime because of animation like this one. I haven't decided yet.
Just do it. Stop being nice. It's time for the mean Shiro arc.
10, 20, or 30%. It's pretty much all the same, no?
Yeah, it's for uuuuuuuh... privacy reasons.
Those tiny noodle arms are anything but strong. :)))))))
But after the carrot comes always the stick. :DDD
No proof? That's pretty damning.
"Kino no Tabi"... "Kino no Tabi"... Yeah, nah. Doesn't ring a bell. What's that? :)
You cheeky little [■■■].
C’est la vie.
Must be a nice feeling to know that the other party enjoyed your gift. ;_;
I mean, the animation looks great for a PowerPoint presentation, but I don't have a problem with it. It's the dialogue, the characters, and the whole idea behind Blue Lock that are driving me up a wall. It got a bit better once they started the match against U-20, but most of the time I just want to roll my eyes.
I never denied it. :]
I guess I could overlook it just once.
Fuck no. But it happens to me every now and then. I hate it.
Omg you should def check out World Trigger! It's so good, especially seasons 2 and 3! I'm fond of season 1 as well, but there's just one specific part which I recommend to skip stupid filler arc from ep 49-63coughs coughs Other than that, I'm sure you'd enjoy it :') Also, looking forward to this new Apothecary Diaries season! <3
Belated Happy New Year, dear <33
Magical ones. They come in pretty handy.
Oh okay, my mistake.
Nope, only the tiniest dares are left.
I never said it would be fair.
Normally you should make that decision, but I guess I can play matchmaker.
What if I size down the bonfire to a campfire? Now it should be a more manageable sin.
On a broad spectrum, without going into much detail, oui oui. Mainly the arts.
Same. Lately I have always played with the thought of giving One Piece a go.
Yes, you could. Lie to your heart's content.
I would never say something like that. What I meant is that you have such a colossal soul that if I were to take a chunk of it, you wouldn't even notice. :)))
I think we should table this conversation, sort our thoughts, and then continue. The meeting spot is a decrepit wooden cabin no one knows about far in the woods.
Nice, by eating all those veggies, you will grow big and strong eventually. :D
Let's call it a learning experience.
It doesn't always have to be the stick, sometimes it can be the carrot. :)
I am not convinced.
Yes, please repeat what you said. Preferably with eardrum-shattering volume because I am old and can't hear that well anymore.
*le sigh*
As we do sometimes.
I don't know, I haven't heard anything from them yet. How was your Santa gift received?
Yeah, I mean, it might be fun once I check it out, but I don't really feel compelled to. On the topic of different tastes, what made the 2nd season of Blue Lock a 7/10 for you? Because honestly, if it weren't a short anime, I would drop it.
Now that's just a baseless accusation. Prank you? Pffffffffft.
That's why I didn't want to do it, but you left me no choice.
You would be surprised how many people don't do that.
Yeah, it seems like we really do have similar tastes! I’m glad I didn’t give you too much trouble. Haha
You nailed my type of comedy perfectly. There wasn’t a single episode that didn’t make me laugh! I love clumsy and loud characters like Handa, and Naru is just amazing. I absolutely adored her expressions. Ahh, I wish there were more episodes. :(
Hm, that’s a tough question... Both songs are already on my playlist, btw. Haha But if I had to choose one, I’d probably go with the opening. :D
I’ve reached the halfway point of Kino no Tabi, and I’m really enjoying it. I recently watched the Coliseum episodes, and the ending took me by surprise, and it was really satisfying.
I noticed there’s a more recent version from 2017, right? I almost ended up watching that one by mistake, but I couldn’t figure out if it’s a remake or something entirely different.
I’ve also reached the halfway point of Dungeon Meshi, and things got pretty dark! I wasn’t expecting that, but I’m loving it. I’m really glad to know a continuation has already been confirmed, because now I’m curious to see how it all ends.
I’ll be starting Golden Kamuy soon, and from what you’ve told me, I’m pretty sure I’ll enjoy it! The first time I heard about Golden Kamuy was when I was picking out seasonal anime, but I think it was already on its third season by then, so I didn’t pay much attention since it was ongoing. But your recommendation and the synopsis definitely caught my interest. I’m excited to get started!
I feel lucky that you recommended me such great anime right when I had some free time. Haha
This was my first time participating in the Secret Santa event, and it was an incredible experience! I got really lucky to have you as my Santa, none of your recommendations disappointed me.
Have a great weekend! ^^
You probably hide it under a rug or something.
Yeah, I am a complete pushover. :D
Sure, sure. Only tiny dares. Even Mt. Everest is tiny compared to the sun.
It's a we-thing in spirit. :)
You don't have to say anything. We all know the truth.
I don't have any concrete plans. Maybe resell some or make a big bonfire. If I am really out of options, I might even read one or two.
What a wondrous world.
That was a masterclass in character writing. On that topic, a lot of people also praise One Piece for its unique characters.
You could do that.
Why not? I bet you wouldn't even notice.
I am receiving mixed signals on the vibes I radiate. So, do I return all of the items I recently bought?
Green, leafy vegetables are apparently good for one's brain. Eating about 5 kg a day should alleviate you of all those pesky moments of memory loss.
So much overtime...
Yep. A full stop.
Well, we will see about that. I bet you are just setting up a trap.
Sorry, I couldn't hear the last part because of the coughing. Could you repeat that? And do you need a cough drop or some boiling hot tea?
Nope, I would say it's a good mixture of everything.
You really shouldn't.
Dorohedoro and Baccano. Which felt a bit basic, not gonna lie.
What's the idea behind Gosick? Do you think I would enjoy a show like that? Also, please tell me what you think about Id Invaded once you finish it.
What? Me? Jinx you? Never. If I can't jinx you, I might just need to trip you myself. :)))
Not only would you have failed the test miserably. I would have also called up your parents and had a serious talk. We are way past the point of disappointment. :(((
No, but serisouly, at least you checked out the videos. Others might have just completely ignored them. We can't all like the same stuff anyway.
Hey Sh1ro_, my Secret Santa!
First of all, I want to thank you for the amazing anime recommendations! I absolutely loved them, and I’m already hooked. I can’t wait to watch all of them.
I’ve already finished Barakamon... I just couldn’t stop watching it (yeah, it was that good). Barakamon has everything I love: it’s relaxing, funny, and so heartwarming. I laughed so much, and the characters are so lovable! It even got me emotional, especially in the last few episodes. As a big fan of Iyashikei, Barakamon is definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much!
Right now, I’m watching Kino no Tabi. I had never heard of this anime before, and I’m already in love with it! It’s so unpredictable, and that’s something I really enjoy. I love the fact that every episode shows us different places and cultures, and I really enjoy the philosophical and melancholic tones of the anime. It really makes you think, and I truly appreciate that.
I’m also watching Dungeon Meshi. I can’t believe I was missing out on this one! I’m a huge fantasy fan, and as someone who loves Shokugeki no Souma, I absolutely enjoy the combination of both worlds. It’s so much fun, and the comedy is just perfect. Though I do find myself feeling a little sorry for the monsters sometimes. Haha
Golden Kamuy is next on my list. I saw it has four seasons, so I decided to save this longer series for last. Once I finish Kino no Tabi or Dungeon Meshi, I’ll dive into Golden Kamuy. The synopsis really grabbed my attention, and I’m super excited to start it. And don’t worry, if the story is good, I don’t mind the animation.
Thank you again for taking the time to pick such perfect anime for me. You truly nailed my taste, and I’m having the best time watching them.
Wishing you a fantastic New Year, filled with great anime and happy moments! Oh, and I added you, I hope that’s okay! ^^
Ah cool, nice to hear both main characters are likeable.
Yeah I watched SEL. I can't say I enjoyed watching it, but I definitely think it's amazing in its accuracy in depicting how omnipresent the internet is in today's world. Ah I see, I've seen people say the beginning of shows that relied more on building the atmosphere - like Steins;Gate, Madoka, and Shinsekai Yori - were boring as well, while I loved all of them, so I guess I'll just have to see myself. x3
Yep!! Coincidentally enough, I just mentioned how I was thinking of watching Ergo Proxy in my previous message. And what do you know, I got the show as my main recommendation from Secret Santa haha. Guess I have no excuse not to watch it any time soon. xD Did any of your recommendations interest you?
Hehehe yes, we will definitely see both of them again. :') Ah yes now that you mentioned it, I agree. :/ Did you hear Ivan's new song yet btw? Though it hasn't officially been released yet. It's part 1, so there should be more to come.
Haha that's actually so true...if the character genders were all reversed, Blue Box would literally just be a typical shoujo xD Taiki leaving Hina all alone while he was taking his sweet time with Chinatsu at the fireworks festival made me so mad...she deserves better. But yeah hard agree, I like Chinatsu but her scenes with Taiki are pretty bland. But yeah for sure, I'll let you know!
Well at least it grew on you, I know some people would call it a travesty but I skipped the Dandadan OP every single time. Hearing it several times while wandering around random Japanese stores is enough for me. xD I still can't say I enjoyed watching Dandadan much at all, but I think I'll give the second season a few episodes after that cliffhanger...but yeah, a lot of weird fanservice-y scenes. >.>
Welp, I'm sad that Fate/strange Fake isn't actually airing this Winter yet..only one episode. Classic MAL giving incorrect info. Ah well.
Ohh Koishima, I haven't watched a reverse harem in a while...think my last one was Romantic Killer. Tasokare Hotel sounds interesting, although I'm always wary of game-to-anime adaptations. Ah you're reading the LN for Apothecary Diaries? :o I'm only ahead with the manga. Hopefully the anime didn't leave out anything too important? Rarely enough, I enjoy watching the anime more than reading the manga. Although one thing that kinda annoyed me was the anime-original scene when Jinshi was taking his sweet time carrying Maomao while she was injured. xD It certainly was good for the dramatic effect though.
Btw since you've watched the first episode of Zenshuu, I'm curious - how do you feel about the "isekai twist"?
Ohhh okay, it's not too bad then if you wanted to be spoiled. Yeah there were a lot of angry comments, mainly because the way Aqua's death occurred seemed really stupid and pointless...Akane could've saved his butt but apparently Aqua had anti plot armor. He had no reason not to ask for her help. -_-
I was so confident that Kaguya would get a full anime adaptation, but now I'm not so sure....but hopefully a sequel would get announced soon, otherwise I'll definitely just finish reading the manga. Yeah Record of Ragnarok has really great art, otherwise tbh there's not really much going for it since it's 100% action/fighting.
Haha yeah I'm curious if you will join the Rachel hate train as well. xD
The first episode of the Link Click prequel is an hour long, I'm sooo excited to watch it!!
The previous arcs all did so well at maintaining a balance of making all the characters feel important and relevant, so I'm really disappointed that the NEL arc feels so Isagi-centered in comparison. :/ I dislike the Isagi and Kaiser glazing as well, especially since I dislike Kaiser...his sad backstory did nothing for me to sympathize with him.
Kunigami - obvious one, but the author massacred his character...I wish he was never brought back. He went from being my favorite character in the first/second selection with his laid-back, nice personality to this...weird edgy emo dude.
Hiori - I really like how chill and wholesome he was in the third selection/U-20 arc (+ he was the only one who cared to check up on Rin when he got injured), but his sadist side turns me off
Isagi - okay this is more on hating on how he's written, but the way he acts too cocky sometimes annoys me too
Loki - well admittedly this is more on me for having any expectations, but I thought he was really cool and chill from the second selection match so I thought he would be a cool coach, but he's yet *another* horrible coach who doesn't care much about any of his students except for one
And if I'm being honest, Reo might have to be added to this list if he continues to only want to stay in a support role...I just want his cocky/first selection personality back where he's willing to at least try to score goals instead of only passing to one character all the time.
I'm confident it'll get a S3, especially since they got Miyano Mamoru to voice Kaiser. Argh, my favorite VAs voicing a character I hate always leaves me conflicted. xD Maybe I'll like him more in the anime. But wow, the last episode of S2 was great! Sad they didn't include the chill aftermath of the match, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that in the sequel. I wonder if they'll include the missing Reo + Kunigami vs. Shidou + Igaguri second selection match in the sequel as well?
I love the spinoff manga, I've been enjoying it so much more than the main manga for a while now. Haha yeah, it really emphasizes how much Nagi cares about Reo....Nagi's VA himself said that he believes Nagi cares just as much about Reo as Reo cares for Nagi, and I can see now that he's not wrong.
Oh nice!!! Well ngl, that confirmation is definitely getting me motivated to re-read Omniscient Reader haha. I seriously love that trope as well. Do you mind putting that certain quote in a spoiler comment? I'll read it only if I get too curious. xD Unfortunately the only one I could think of that fits the bill is Steins;Gate...there's also Tokyo Revengers, Summertime Render, Higurashi, and Re:Zero, but those are more on the protagonist wanting to save everyone around them, and in the last three, they have no choice anyways because it's time travel upon death.
I was able to do it for Link Click S2, so I think I'll also be able to do it this time around....just gotta pretend the show doesn't come out for another season and avoid going to sites that would have spoilers. xD
Oh ok I don't remember that at all. :o That's probably the reason.
Yep, 2 years since the Genshin Impact anime announcement...I guess they'll focus their attention on it once Demon Slayer finishes. Three movies left so maybe at least 3 more years. :')
Hehe yes, chibis are always so adorable. Thank youuuu. Do you have any new years resolutions? I always say I should exercise more, but that never comes to fruition. xD

Why's that?
Yes. A shocking revelation, I know.
This is my reaction after reading this :D (volume warning).
Must be a nice feeling to know that the other party enjoyed your gift. ;_;
I hate it.
Belated Happy New Year, dear <33
I always say I should exercise more, but that never comes to fruition. xD
