10- Nearly perfect. This movie or series succeeds in delivering all aspects in extraordinary quality. It is truly a masterpiece worth revisiting time and time again.
09- Amazing: Very few flaws, but not quite "10" material because of one or two problems that cannot be overlooked. Almost always worth revisiting.
08- Great: A very good movie or series, but with some obvious flaws weighing it down. Usually worth revisiting.
07- Good: Some glaring flaws, but a good series nonethless. Sometimes worth revisiting.
06- Alright: Acceptable quality. Usually not a waste of time, but not all series that receive this rating are worthy of completion. Rarely worth revisiting.
05- Average: Mediocre. Usually not worth continuing for series. Hardly ever worth revisiting.
04- Poor: Below Average. Not worth the time for either movies or series. Many moments invoke the urge or action to cease viewing, with few to no positive aspects. Never worth revisiting.
03- Bad: There are few average aspects, let alone good ones. Even if some part of the movie or series manages to be executed correctly, it is cancelled out entirely by the poorer aspects.
02- Awful: No redeeming qualities whatsoever. Everything about this series or movie is below "below average" and the best thing would be if it were simply lost and forgotten.
01- Nearly perfectly imperfect: Just plain abysmal. The opposite of a "10," this score is reserved for only those grotesque, unbearable, nightmarish bastardizations of entertainment.

I wait to rate series until I've watched ten or half of the episodes, whichever comes first. A show that has been dropped or put on hold before either of these amounts have been reached receives no rating.
