:)

that sounds like a good teacher. Yeah, I think that is pretty talented of you still.
I have a real love of watercolour stuff. I've seen a few people's (online) watercolour moleskines, and they're simply beautiful. I've always wanted to get into it, but it looks too hard to become good at it lol
Thankyou:) I've always had a passion for it.

Yeah, true true. It sounds like it can be a harrowing process, but rewarding too.

Ah, okay then. I'm jealous, I love the coast haha
Hmm you're right, dead and dry does get old pretty quick

Don't be sorry, It's understandable. I was more worried if anything, I'm glad nothing bad had happened to you^_^

Wow, you're really good! I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt pastels or acrylics or anything other than my trusty pencils lol. You've got real talent, they look great.
Developing a theme would be hard.

Wow, that would really suck:/ I bet that would be frustrating.
yeah, it sounds like it would be:)

ahaha you should come down to where i live. I live in Central NSW, so the only heat here is dry heat.

aw ^_^ thankyou
Those three took a lot of work, a few weeks each (just on and off). I'm sure you'll get it though:) It's just practice.
Yeahh, I'd love tp. But I also love the look of watercolour. I've seen some really beautiful stuff done in that.

Ahh okay, wow I'm even more curious to see how they looked now:) That would suck, but it means you could start your own collection of equipment and stuff. Though, that would be hella expensive :/

That's exactly how i feel sometimes, but when i leave it, it's always with the intention of coming back to it later. Sometimes taking a break is really good as it just clears your head. I find sometimes i get so stuck on an idea or on how i want something to look that i'm never satisfied with what i;ve done, but after a break (be it a day or a week) I can go back to it with a fresh mind. Of course it is. Perseverance, persistence, without those things you can never better yourself:) I'm sure you're an amazing artist as it stands.

awesome! it's really great. Thats a shame though, because yeah, it is:) Though i'm a guy so maybe that's why i don't have that problem of having too much stuff lol

Looking forward to it ^.^

^_^ thankyou
aw cool, i'd love to get into charcoal and stuff because i've seen some really amazing landscapes and drawings that just blew me away. Especially the stylistic ones with the sweeping lines and fluidity of the strokes.
I'm kind of the complete opposite lol if i don't finish something it really just gnaws at me until i do. Buuut in saying that it can take me a long time to finish because i pay attention (probably too much) to the little details. I use, well lately, a moleskine. It's really great to have a pocket sketchbook, i find that wherever i am i can just sit and sketch what i see. I never go anywhere without it and a mechanical pencil (.5 Staedlar Mars Micro). I do have a kind of portfolio at home where i do more major, detailed stuff though.
Actually, i'll see if i can link some through...

An anime-based one:)

And then there's stuff that i just get attached to. For instance, water-based sketched. There's something about having that fluidity of motion and light that i love trying to capture.

I'd love to be able to do landscapes, and i've tried but they never live up to my expectations. I can never 'capture' what i want, does that make sense? sorry lol

I'd love to see some of your work too:) i mean, if that'd be alright

:)that's a relief haha

I'm pretty shy too, so it was a big leap for me to actually initiate something, But i like meeting new people on here though. I should say hello too^_^

Ahhh I can't get enough of drawung and stuff. Apart from my music, it's a way for me to really, I guess, escape from life:)
What type of art and stuff do you do?
