Hm.. I think that depends whether you like reading manga or watching anime more. I think the manga is more in depth than the anime, but both are fine. Though a slight warning, the story is superb at the first half and gets mediocre near the ending D:
Haha I know what you mean.. I used to love watching Kimi no Todoke but after they start dating and overcoming some basic obstacles, there's not much happening afterwards. It's still a cute story, but the pacing is a little..

Yep!! Oh wow, that's a nice to word it. Yep, I think they're the perfect match for each other. Oh god, whenever I talk about Horimiya, it makes me want to find another good romance anime or manga to watch/read ): Right? To me, it seems like Sakura over glorifies Ishi since he is always nice to her and saves her. When Ishi is with Yuki, he's more like himself. Funny, idiotic and cool. So I guess Yuki sees his imperfections and the good sides of him too. Yeah, I also hope they don't ruin the story by going into the love triangle direction.

Oh, I hope you meet some too!! Oh wow, engineering is pretty cool o: I think I'll major in Biology and go to medical school.

Yep!! I'm glad it was short though, or else I would be pretty frustrated. I know what you mean, but don't spoil it for yourself! That's what I did for Erased, and I ended up abandoning the anime after I finished reading the manga. But the manga is great though, if you ever plan to read it O:

Right? I love her family haha. Her family seems so festive. His everyday visits are so cute and I love his relationship with her brother lol. Hori and Miya are super adorable, I envy their relationship. Oh yay! You ship Ishikawa and Yuki too! Most people I know ship Ishikawa and Sakura which is okay.. but yeah. Sawada is super cute lol. I just hope the relationship Sawada and Miyamura remains platonic so the story doesnt have a cliche love triangle thing.

Oh cool. Moving into a dorm sounds fun! Congrats and gl with the move!!! :D I know what you mean, I'm not sure if I'm ready for college either. Yep. It's great so far. The food and drinks are pretty good. Sometimes I miss the little stuff back at home, but it's refreshing to be away (:

I'm new too actually. Despite the fact that my profile was made two years ago I only just started using it about two weeks ago. Yep...110 Forum posts in two weeks. And that's not even counting in how many times I've posted in forum games. It's basically become my new obsession.

Thanks for the encouragement man!

Yuno definitely makes up for the fact that Yuki was so weak for most of the series. Did you see Redial? I was happy the way it wrapped up the story.

Hi, Love your avatar. Calvin and Hobbes is one of my favorite comics of all time. I think it can stand up to many manga and it is always nice to meet a fellow Mirai Nikki fan.

Oh yay! You read Horimiya! I know right? Like why.... I hate waiting for a chapter to release :/

Yep. I love how their feelings gradually develop especially how their regular meetings at Hori's house. It's so funny how Miyamura is an "unofficial" member of Hori's family. Hori's brother is so freaking cute and her dad is so funny. Yeah, a lot of their insecurities are relatable. I'm reading and I'm like "I know how that feels" haha

That sounds like an awesome schedule! I can't wait for Orange episodes too. If only Horimiya released more often ):
Yay!! I'm glad you like them. Dont hesitate to ask or talk to me if you need anything else :D Hope yours is going great as well.

Well, maybe I can also point out that Hyouka is a fair play mystery show. You can try and guess the answer if you want :3

Hmm, if you don't mind, I'll like to talk about Tales of Zestiria the X. Well, it's currently airing, but it have caught my eye. When I found out it was by ufotable studio and the opening theme song "Kaze no Uta" is by FLOW, one of the band I like, I decided to watch it. Now, I found a favourite song of the season xD. And for some reason, I kind of like the setting of that show. The animation done by ufotable is as expected, outstanding. I heard it was adapted from one of the Tales games.
Izuho Jul 22, 2016 10:41 PM
No problem! ^^

Hmm, it's not for everyone. Hyouka is a mystery, school life and slice of life anime. It's mildly episodic, and the show doesn't follow a larger arc. The mystery can be pretty average and doesn't stand well (depending on viewers) bcoz it's more of light mystery. As for MC, Oreki, he is unenthusiastic, but interesting and relatable (if you're lazy and doesn't like to get involved often) Well, Chitanda's trait of "Watashi Kirinarimasu" can be pretty annoying, bcoz she always use that phrase, haha, but the character interaction is what makes Hyouka enjoyable.

It's one of the lighthearted series. It was a great series to me ;)

(thank you :3)

Yeah, I actually teared up in the manga too lol. The feels ;A; Right? I love their friendship and how each character is willing to sacrifice for another's happiness. Same. Thank goodness Kakeru isn't clueless like the other typical mcs, but I agree, he shouldn't have dated her when he had no feelings for Ueda. I was also disappointed in Naho for not telling him directly , but it's probably a tough decision to make if I was in her position.

Yeah, the whole future thing made me curious and anxious at the same time. Haha yes. Hopefully love will carry them through.I One good thing about the ending is that there's no loose end or any ambiguous ending. (:

Oh yay! You're reading Horimiya!! Tell me how it goes.

I personally don't really care about the Beatles. They're alright, but I don't really listen to their music much. And no, I don't know any shows like that, sorry.
amnotactive Jul 21, 2016 10:47 PM
Queen is indeed my favorite band. And you're welcome.
SweetOmelette Jul 20, 2016 6:41 PM
Yes I know how you feel. I get so frustrated when characters keep avoiding confronting their love interest or act clueless grrr. Ambiguous endings are kind of annoying sometimes too :/

Yep! I completely agree! I like watching the progress as a couple and how their feelings develop too. I think that's more important than them being labeled as a couple. Hm... In Orange, they give you a peek in the future, so in a way people are already matched up. But the relationship progress is definitely there too! If you read it, you probably will find yourself rooting for the main character a lot!

Yess. Horimiya is a really unique one too. There's a lot of character bonding, friendship and of course lots of cute moments. Lots of romance. I love it.

No problem!! I hope you like them !! :p
SweetOmelette Jul 20, 2016 3:41 PM
Yes. Definitely do!! I see, Kou and Futaba can be frustrating sometimes, but the ending is really worth it. If you ever read it, tell me how it goes!

Yep. The time travel aspect of Orange is very interesting. What I really love about it is the bonds between the characters. I don't want to spoil it for you, but there are going to be some sad moments. Orange has a manga too, if you dont want to wait for the anime to finish airing. It's one of my absolute favorite!!

Also, since you're looking for romance titles to binge read, have you read Horimiya?
SweetOmelette Jul 20, 2016 12:36 PM
Hey. Thanks!! I haven't personally watched the anime except for the first two episodes so I can't really say... I'm a big fan of the manga though. I'd say give it a try! If the anime follows the manga then it's really worth watching. The romance is great.

If you're looking for another slice of life rom com to watch, I recommend watching Orange. It's currently airing and the story is amazing!
TheMageKiller Jul 19, 2016 11:32 PM
Definitely, I thought it was great that Migi became more human while Reiko slowly had a more parasitic mindset so they both just kind of met in the middle. It was great because I didn't really understand the world at first but I came to love everything about it. High expectations met indeed!
