| The return of novelist Ryo Shirakome's Arifureta for yet another season in almost 3 years, we're going back with the continuation of Volume 7 of the LN and beyond. At this point, you can count the anime to adapt the LN to completion since we're already halfway through the adaptation. VOID_Chords is back with MindaRyn for the OP, and it's at least decent, while not matching Season 1 by any standpoint. Doberman Infinity's K-Pop inspired ED is minimalistic, but is otherwise the same feelings as the OP. Yue's recap of the happenings within Season 2 was a good minute and 2 for remembrance to get up to speed, as Hajime and the gang head towards another of the Great Labyrinth on their airship Fenrir, but making a stop to the Hoelscher Empire to leave Lilliana there to negotiate an alliance with the Emperor. That is only but the work of the surviving classmates of Kouki, Kaori and the others, and along the way to see both Lana and Mira being hunted down on purpose against the Empire's imperials, people that Shea and Hajime know all too well because of their training on the rabbit beastmen. Of course, finding the Haulias Tribe once again to greet their fervent boss, and make new nicknames for themselves, they sure are having a rather useless argument arguing over the "edgelord" that is Hajime. The Haulias Tribe filling Hajime and the gang in on the happenings thus far, and it's more than just a simple kidnapping of beastmen enough to make haste towards the Empire over the Great Labyrinth, putting Shea under immense pressure for Hajime to reassure her over the worries of her father and the others, captured in the Empire. Once again, Hajime's off to yet another quest, and how reckless will he be this time. |

| @IzanaSolos Well keeping art consistency is generally a good thing, as opposed to what happened to like highschool dxd which should have continued with the character art design from the first few seasons instead of changing to a moe-blob-like art even if the new character art is more faithful to the source (yes I know it was due to studio change). |

Apparently Nagumo's quest is now to team up with the Crimson Demons rabbit people and save The Blue Thing's dad from The Empire. Some decent eye candy here, but that's about it. |

| Peak trash is finally here. So is best girl, loli vampire. OP is good enough but not as good as 1st szn. ED is pure junkyard garbage wtf was that..I am not complaining though. Yue flashback was a good touch. Not a lot happened. Hajime still casually sexual harrassing every women. Haulia tribes nicknames were hilarious. Edgelord influence off the charts. This season will be Shea focused from looks of it. Expected her to do something lude but it was actually kinda nice scene at the end. She will cook for sure. |

| Seem so weird to have this back man I remember watching season 1 before class when I was in grad school and it’s still going 😭 I’ll give it a try, they can’t possibly butcher the books worse than season 1 and season 2 was an improvement iirc Very relevant for this arc to drop with Metaphor going strong in the gaming world rn lol. Discrimination in fantasy worlds seems to be the topic of the day. The horrible treatment the beastmen have endured really gets my blood boiling. But I’m glad Hajime was able to teach them to defend themselves.. that is until the empire started kidnapping instead of destroying. I haven’t read this far in the books yet(haven’t read since 2019) but I can already tell the pacing is much better, production values look better and the overall arc looks like it’ll be one of the best Always good to have shea focus so I’m hype. |

| It was an ok first ep and I'm down for the bunny girl focus. Both the OP and ED songs are solid. First 2 seasons of this were a guilty pleasure trash show for me. Usually shows like this run out of steam quickly with multiple seasons so I hope we continue to get more ruthless Hajime to keep it entertaining. |

Hajime still sees them as precious, but he hasn’t had to deliberately go out his way for them to the same degree as what Shea is asking of him now. The only other person Hajime has thus far gone furthest for is Myuu (and maybe Aiko, but they had a past already), because saving her and cleaning up Furen had quite literally nothing to do with his goal of finding a way back to earth through the Age of Gods magic hidden in the Liberators’ labyrinths Hajime’s mom later also put it roughly like this: Shea didn’t get where she is now by constantly begging for Yue and Hajime to help her. She fought tooth and nail along with them on their quest to become stronger. Shea understands better than anyone that they only truly became comrades because she learned to rely on herself. “She’s like the sun that settled next to the moon and the midnight sky” Shea is currently still strongly holding herself to that mentality because she doesn’t want to be a bother to Hajime now that she’s fully come to terms with her feelings towards him |
| Arifureta is back, and I missed Hajime and his waifus. While it's not the best isekai out there, I've always had a soft spot for this anime. I didn't expect the OP to be a collaboration between the two artists from the previous OPs. It's not bad, but I prefer the one from the first season. It seems like these episodes will focus on Shea and the discrimination and enslavement of demihumans by the empire. I like that because Shea is the second best girl and deserves her development, but Yue is still the first, and Hajime knows that. However, I doubt Shea's family will be in trouble after the training Hajime gave them. A good first episode. |

| Great to have another season of this great anime. I am a bit worried where Liliana is going, that kingdom doesn't seem to be very upstanding. We just have to accept Kouki for who he is, nothing wrong with wanting to help out as many people as possible, unfortunately not everyone can be saved, that is a harsh reality of this world. I like the Edgelord comedy we got multiple times with Shizuku & Suzu. The Haulis did a great job fighting and saving others. To the empire we go. |

| @IzanaSolos I do not think you really understand the underlining's of this story. The LN draw more emotions from me, from any other Author, not named Sanderson. The Anime, is suppose to be Fun. Just Enjoy it. That said, the OP does not fit this seasons theme, not a bit, not at all. I loved the OP from 1 and 2, I felt they very much fit the theme. |

I like "Red Rondo of Death" in English but "White Fang Hurricane" sounds better to me in Japanese. Maybe he'll use his new chuuni powers to come up with one himself? I love the details of both Hajime and Yue paying attention to Shea's reactions noticing how worried she is that she isn't acting as usual and decide to help her out. Definitely gonna be interesting seeing them tangle with the Empire. |
