I wouldn't go so far to call most of it complete trash but it is saddening to see that very few seem to discuss the really interesting parts of the series (I mean, seriously, the nudity and the flashy action scenes are pretty eye-catching but they hardly represent everything this show consists of).
And well, is there any reason to hide gainax-fanboism in the first place? I don't think so ^^
