After watching it, it made me appreciate the sport a lot. Perhaps try watching 2-3 episodes before deciding if you want to get into it? It has 3 seasons :)
I cannot really claim, that I am a hardcore sports anime fan but I do like them a lot. If you tell me which one's you watched until now, I tell you if there are any I might have watched already that you might have missed. :)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!
That makes more sense. :)
If by "C section" you mean my 5/10's, then, yes, it IS diverse! :D
> I must say, good fellow, that your review for Charlotte was astoundingly perfect.
Thank you so much! That really means a lot to hear such kind words given my way. :)
> To begin with, I have never seen such a s**tstorm of an anime before in my entire life...
Truth be told, I have seen worse than Charlotte in my relatively short anime career. Still, Charlotte is one massive, sprawling train wreck if there ever was one.
> ... and I could not help but laugh at your analogies because of how accurate they were in describing the frustrating but sweat-breakingly grotesque feeling that accompanied me whilst I was watching this anime.
I am glad you liked them! They were equally as fun for me to write. :3
> Once again, I thank you for writing such a fantastic view to brighten my day.
You are very welcome! Your kindness means the world to me.
I hope my future reviews are as favorable to you, and I hope to be able to speak with you more soon! :)

My cousins and I actually didn't enjoy New Challenger nearly as much as the original, it's near a 6.5/10 for me =/ Quite a few reasons, wrote a pretty long blurb about it a while ago. But MAL has New Challenger at 8.77, so I'm guessing most others don't share the sentiment. I still need to do Ippo 3...
>It's really under-appreciated for such a jocular, exuberant and a genuinely well-made anime.
Fully agreed. Kiki was actually my first Miyazaki film and one of my first anime. I didn't know it at the time either, just randomly saw it on Cartoon Network on TV and loved it, but I was so little I forgot the title. It's not on your list so I thought you hadn't seen it, like most others.
I actually haven't seen Lupin. Poor excuse but I guess I thought I had to watch the series first, and never bothered to ask. Seems like it's okay standalone, so I'll be seeing it shortly, thanks.
Same, except Miyazaki's movies. Hard to believe Nausicaa, Laputa, Grave of the Fireflies, Totoro, and one of my favorites, Kiki's Delivery Service, were all made in the 80s. So much better quality than anything else from that decade.
By the way, Infusion's Ippo release is pretty ubiquitous so it's the one most people end up watching, but the quality's terribly poor compared to Yellow-Flash's DVD release. If you're also viewing Infusion's version, here's Yellow-Flash's torrent: https://bakabt.me/torrent/164358/hajime-no-ippo-yellow-flash
