Icontest Forty-Three An Icon Carol Taken from a suggestion by KawaiiObsessive, I thought I'd do something a little different for this icontest... As winter and the christmas season is drawing near (I was reminded of this fact with 15 cm of snow today), I was hoping to do something festive, not done before, and something that didn't focus too much on Christmas itself for the people that don't celebrate it. Thus, I have decided to go with the theme I have titled "An Icon Carol" :) [I was trying to do a play on "A Christmas Carol", but I think it came out stupid... >.> However, I thought it did sound better than "Carol of the Icons", lol. If someone can think of a better name, please let me know XD]  A carol is a festive song which either relates to Christmas, Hanukkah or the Winter season in general. Pick one line from the lyrics of any carol (old or new) and match it with a fitting anime/manga image to make a festive little icon. As always, I am EXTREMELY excited to see what you guys come up with!! It might be a little hard at first, but try to have fun with it and I hope it brings you a little festivity in the process :) Theme: An Icon Carol - you may use words/characters/scenes of your favourite anime or manga that relates to the holiday season - feel free to use other images (non-anime) as background or accents to the central image - icons must include one line or phrase from any festive carol - be creative! Rules: - You can enter up to 2 icons - Icon size: 100x100 or 100x125 (MAL size) - Cannot be from fan art, unless it is your own (or you have permission) - All submitted icons must be created in the time frame of the contest (ie: not 2 months ago) - Must be your own work Format for Submitting Icons: 1. (insert icon here) 2. name the character/series 3. link to the original picture (or original in spoilers) Reward: - 1st place: icon as club picture, and winner banner - 2nd place: winner banner - 3rd place: winner banner Note: places will be based on individuals, rather than icons ------------------------DEADLINE-------------------------- Tuesday, December 15th Questions or comments can messaged to either icecreeaamm or myself!
