Icontest Fifty-One Tropes  A trope is a common pattern, theme, or motif in a story, and with this theme we'll be looking at anime tropes :D If you don't know what a trope is or at a loss for one that would be present in an anime, there are many sites that huge lists of them that might help you stimulate ideas. As a starting point, take a look at TVTropes. I hope you have fun with this theme :) Theme: Tropes - you may use words/characters/scenes of your favourite anime or manga that is representative of an anime trope - feel free to use other images (non-anime) as background or accents to the central image - words, sayings, quotes may help to explain your icon - be creative! Rules: - You can enter up to 2 icons - Icon size: 100x100 or 100x125 (MAL size) - Cannot be from fan art, unless it is your own (or you have permission) - All submitted icons must be created in the time frame of the contest (ie: not 2 months ago) - Must be your own work Format for Submitting Icons: 1. (insert icon here) 2. name the character/series 3. link to the original picture (or original in spoilers) Reward: - 1st place: icon as club picture, and winner banner - 2nd place: winner banner - 3rd place: winner banner Note: places will be based on individuals, rather than icons ------------------------DEADLINE-------------------------- Sunday, April 18th Questions or comments can messaged to either icecreeaamm, Kineta or RaitotheReaper! | Ha! I recently read some of the entries on that site due to a mentioning of it on a different forum. How ironic. And that site is a good source of amusement. :D Well, I've been missing for a while now, but I might just be able to come up with something this time around! :D I'll edit this post if/when I come up with some entries. ^_^ |

| I took it due to the nature of this theme... and the stunning lack of icons :( But for future reference, if you don't know where an image came from (ie: what anime) you probably shouldn't be using it ;) |
