THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
This is quite an emotional episode, showing part of Saya’s past as well as her oath with Hagi to end her own life after Diva is defeated. The whole episode has a plentiful amount of Hagi x Saya and Kai x Saya, but somehow it seems that the story is heading to a direction with either one not getting what they promised and hoped for.

Diva’s delivery of her babies seems to be earlier than I thought, and it was delivered through surgery by Amschel. Chances are that the babies might not make it to be old enough to pose a threat to Saya, from the number of episodes left and also Saya nearing her hibernation.

Didn't expect Diva to give birth so soon and Solomon got his ass handed to him on a plate by her...it's set up to be a really good finale I think.

Somehow I thought that Saya's promise with Haji was him to kill her when everything is over, though I still don't have a clue how will this end.

Yes, that promise was easily predicted as soon as it was first mentioned. I really hope that Haji doesn't go through with it.

No surprise on the promise, although you'll note that Haji also promised that he would check with Saya to see if that was what she truly wanted when it happens--enough wiggle room for there to be hope.

Mao stage managed the date very well--unfortunately I don't think it will work for Kai--even if Saya survives she is about to go down for a 30 year sleep.

The promise was, as said above, quite predictable. There is still some hope, since Haji told her he would do it IF that was what she truly wanted.

Solomon getting his ass kicked was rather sudden. I expected him to last a while longer, helping out Saya in her last fight. I don't like the whole KaiXSaya thing, they are supposed to be siblings (even though they're adopted)!

The future looks bleak for everyone. I doubt this show is getting a happy ending. I guess I'll just have to watch and find out.

It was nice seeing Mao try to set them up for a nice date, but o well don't think it will work out they are suppose to be "siblings".

Hopefully they don't go through with the promise though or maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing since she is gonna hibernate anyways.

aw man, Soloman died. Somehow, this reminds me of korean dramas where the nice guys almost always never get the girl they love :[

Dang, I'm sure Solomon did regret that, he got dropped quick. 4 episodes left, epic confrontations must be on their way!

Well the promise was really predictable and I hope it doesn't end like that, I'm seeing this series head for a bad ending.
Kai x Saya is a complete no no for me, I actually like Mao and if proper development was made Kai x Mao wouldn't be bad, the relationship between Haji x Saya is much more interesting and I actually think that Saya doesn't need any romantic partners in her life seeing as she will sleep for 30 years.

Thank goodness the bet is not so tragic for me to weep as the last times. Surreal narrative, but behind the various revelations something is cooking, intriguing. Plot revealed almost full, I like how in the end is coming out of the character of Mao. Ah! I was amazed when I found that bats prefer to cut Casareo natural childbirth! ASD
Curious to find out how the story will end between the various actors! * _ *

I love Mao:) and I think Solomon died way too quick and easy, so I'm still gonna hold out on him being alive.

My beloved Solomon love makes all of us stupid and incautious, why you decided to act in such careless way I do not know, but you must live and survive-you have to! So many emotions from different characters were shown this time so truthfully

Mao making Haji do menial tasks is hilarious. Worth the entire watch time just to see him change a lightbulb. If Saya dies they should get together and start a new show, though Mao is destined for her crabby reporter love.
I think Kai tried to confess his love by saying they should open the bar together, but that can easily be interpreted as a family thing. It must have hurt to hear her comment on the weather!
"I want us to have a life together."
"Hmm....wonder if tomorrow will be sunny!"
Saya could fall asleep at any time and needs to tell everyone, especially Kai. It wonder if Saya and Diva fall asleep at the exact same time. It would be cool if she got a big energy surge before her sleep.
I think the two babies were removed early because she was maintaining a human body. Remember Saya and Diva were found inside a much larger Chiropteran body. They will develop inside the cocoon, but something tells me we will see them before the show ends.

Solo got wrecked, but he gotta go out in a more epic way.

Towards the finale this show has gotten even more depressing, here's hoping that Kai can do something that would prevent Saya from pulling through with her intentions to die once everything is over. But then again, she will have to enter hibermation for many years, so the ending is going to be bittersweet anyways.

This show is so boring. :(
"The future is always blank. Only your willpower can leave footsteps there."

No matter what ending she will get, one way or another, it is depressing.
Either she dies or she lives for 2-3 years and then sleeps for 30 years while the world keeps on moving.
Even if we assume that 30 years of sleep go by in a flash for her, it must be a strange and sad way of living.

I still don't get what Diva will gain from the whole scheme, but turning the US into a powerhungry villain is kinda lame.

Why can they put parts of Divas blood into food to turn humans into Chriopterans, but can't put something of Sayas blood in darts/bullets to kill Chriopterans?
All they came up with was some "her blood changes when she goes into battle mode" nonsense to dismiss that idea. (But chopping off their heads is fine for some reason.)

And why should it make a difference if I hear a recording of Divas singing compared to a live transmission?

Once again, Diva > Saya. Diva is the best girl in this show. I hope she wins.

At this point, I really don't care about Haiji or Saya anymore. Funny how they are the poster characters for this show, but they're so boring compared to the rest of the cast.
