Having just watched Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex season 1, this is just 12 recut and redubbed eps from that, resulting in a lack of tachikoma (the runaway tank, natural oil, and kleptomania eps are pretty vital to explaining the Major's decision), fanservice (no closeup of her bedmates?) aside from her usual near-Aeon-Flux getup, and music (no Lithium Flower!). Okay for people more into serious black ops business who don't have time to watch all 26 episodes of the original, and prefer lower quality over the philosophy of the 1995 movie.

Mid anime for edgy fantasy lovers. I prefer Queen's Blade for fan service, The Slayers for lore, Dragon Ball Z for fights, and any generic RPG for plot.
More info for the length requirement: - Unique Doom Slayer + harem take on D&D. - Art style is okay. Fights looked good and more frequent than in Higurashi. - Characters were flat, which the fanservice made up for. - Characters were too dramatic and silly. Should the goblins be exterminated or not? Only GS seems to care. - If you can't pick a mood and hate buildup, this show is for you. This anime made me feel relief for knowing what the hype ...

This is a hentai sequel OVA of the Magical Kanan series, mostly taking place in a spooky mansion during (September?) summer camp.
As it's a sequel, new viewers may be surprised by the flashback and overall plot being about magical girls who transform using their part-time animal sidekicks to stop evil wizards and such from taking over the world using evil seed zombies and tentacles. The art is the best part, as editing and sound are pretty poor. English dub is better than recent German hentai dubs i've heard. Animation is hilariously cheap sometimes. Cumshots appear to be missing, only showing the aftermath. Recommended if you're familiar with ...

- Story: A Slayers ripoff with unique names and characters, and rape instead of plot.
- Art style is great at backgrounds and comedy but a could use shading on the private parts. - Characters were generic D&D tropes, with random power scaling for the little plot it has. - Characters were a little too horny, cruel, and lighthearted. - If you enjoy The Slayers but wish it had magical girls getting raped instead of having epic adventures, this might be enjoyable for you. Overall it was too rapey for me, but at least it didn't have too much blood like ep 1, which is ep 2 on the dubbed ...

Batman with a Giant Robo and Rei-like robot girl.
Doesn't gel as well as the first half of Blade Runner, but about as memorable as Flash Gordon, except the story is noir and 1920s Depression-like. The characters were one-dimensional clichés (maybe two if anger and fear are separate) with conveniently erased backstories. If you think The Batman (2022) was too slow and broody, give this a try. I did watch season one at double speed, though, while browsing the web. For a more upbeat anime with a similar style, I highly recommend The Castle of Cagliostro.
