Hitozuma♪Kasumi-san

Hitozuma Kasumi-san (aka Hills Have Size – Don’t you just love the English titles for Eroges) sets a new mark for oppai/eroge animation, I would argue that its animation is as good as Discipline, Cleavage, or Bible Black. The story centers on Kyoji a college student who comes to live in his cousin’s home because the cousin asked him to because of some crimes that had occurred in the surrounding area and as any good Japanese business does, he travels all of the time. At the start of the 2 OVAs, Kyoji happens to see his cousin’s wife, Kasumi pleasuring herself while watching a explicit ... video. This starts all kinds of thoughts going through Kyoji’s mind every time he sees the very well endowed Kasumi. These thoughts take form one night when he sees Kasumi performing the same act again.

But wait, Kasumi’s sister Harumi has something for Kyoji, and she not taking this laying down (of course, maybe she would this is h-anime after all, heh). And for that matter so does Mio, Kasumi’s daughter. But as the title suggests, Kyoji only has eyes (and everything else for that matter) on Kasumi. The second episode moves the relationship along until something that is long expected comes to light. And everything changes from that.

Hitozuma Kasumi-san is the type of H-anime titles that I have always enjoyed. Consensual sex between people who care about each other and devoid of the nastier parts of Hentai that seems to be more common place these days. Not to mention, the 2 part OVA series does have a plot that moves forward. It even left open room for squeals without leaving the viewer hanging on the end of what has been done to date with unresolved issues or plot lines. I would really welcome a sequel to this series. In fact a sequel to the game Hitozuma Kasumi-san is already on the market in Japan. If you have no qualms about infidelity, I would highly recommend the title to those wanting to get a taste of hentai and to couples wanting something from the genre to watch together.

There is a lot of evil in the world that sometimes we fail to see the good. This is a tale about a families hidden evil that blossoms to a kind flower.

Story
Moderate at best. A kind heart approach with a little drama as flair. I could even go as far as describing this 2 bit episode show in a sentence which tells me this anime's plot was subpar. Not much in terms of thrillers.

On a slightly negative approach it was a tad confusing on how the main character blended to the mix. The answer he is a border. Or at least ... that is how i saw it.

Art
Not quite my cup of tea for character beauty but it does blend in to what one might expect in this particular scenario (plot). The background was not skipped out on. The art of the hair/eyes was a little bothersome. On one hand that isn't true. On the other it was kind of nice. Luckily it was mainly confided in the intro.

Sound- no complaints

perfect. I am not saying A+ effort just what you would expect and more. Now, some might argue there other parties that could have been getting it on but given the plot they couldn't. Had it occurred it would have defeated the purpose and the main character's meaning.

A mixture of the classical drama's incest manga have with the quality (art and animation) as the Bible Black Only series. Let me first talk about the quality (art and animation), it's so well done that I would have rated it higher than Bible Black Only, but since that was my favourite hentai, I can't really do that. Regardless, if you haven't seen that, this should be your delight - but first be warned it does include an incest storyline - unless that's what you like, like me. In my opinion, how well is the art and animation? Well, if I were to compare with ... normal anime, it would be like a mix of Dragonaut (art of characters) and Eureka Seven (animation).

Now onto the story (with the inclusion of sound). First, don't get fooled by the false information provided on this site about the story. It actually deals with the protagonist and his sister-in-law. The story is as dramatic as incest manga I've read in the past, and the sound is very consistent. It doesn't have over-the-top sound nor is very low-key. A right amount to keep you watching. I would have preffered if it was either a bit longer (more episodes) with more dramatic story or was just only 1 episode long with everything they cover in the OVA combined. It's really hard to explain the story without telling you a summary, so enjoy this on your own.

Lastly, I also would really like to see a sequel to this OVA, if possible. Though, I know it would be hard to continue where it was left off. But I would highly welcome more OVA of the same quality and dramatic story - like if the incest manga's I've read were to be animated. I also would highly recommend this OVA to anyone that likes the incest genre with intense drama about two people who "love" each other.

This story throw me in a loop that I am almost with no words... keyword: almost.

To start off, this story feels more like a Josei smut romantic drama than hentai per se.

You have Kasumi, a honest and good nature housewife who has been neglected by her husband for x/y amount of time and she feels lonely and sexually frustrated to resort to porn and masturbation to "relief" her loneliness.

Then there is Ryoji, her political nephew that went to live with them to help them out in the absence of his uncle.
After a few incidents he began having feelings for his aunt (they are not ... related by blood so she is fair, right? Well i do not think so much i still do not aprove of cheating, relationships and marriage should be sacred).

There is also Kasumi's sister Harumi who has the hots for Ryoji and Kasumi's daughter Mio who is cousins with Ryoji and has a brother complex to him.

A single man living among women what could go wrong? Well many things if you're in hentai like we are.

Regardless, Ryoji saw Kasumi masturbating and then it all went downhill from there.

I thought at first that this was going to end up like another of those hentai flicks that: Neglected or abused wife ends up cheating on her bad husband with a younger boy to relieve her loneliness and was going to use husband for financial support only.

but

PLOT TWIST!

The husband was actually cheating on her first, and he turned out to be a self-centered selfish douchebag! Who not only admited to her about cheating, he had the balls to force her to stop seeing "the man she cheated on him for" and live as a nun in his house and take care of it like a simple maid while he goes around and have fun with his flussy!
What an asshole!

And next is where things turn into a twist that really made me take a spit-take.
Which is why I think this is more of an adult drama than simple hentai.

She actually divorces the man! Unlike other hentai heroine MILFs in this situation, which in the end they stay with the abussive/neglecter husband to continue having affair with Mc or other or just cut ties with Mc entirelly and lives like a nun in her house; story took a realistic turn of events and after she thought of his treatment actually asked her husband for a divorce since she didn't want to live in a loveless marriage!

You have my respect author... seriously. This is the most realistic possible outcome and you went with it instead of just becoming generic with the other MILF hentai stories.
The reason why Kasumi divorces her husband is not to run away with Ryoji like her husband thought... No. (Husband thought she would just sit back and live as a slave while living off his money and he goes around fucking other women and she would just shut up and accept it, then when the divorce papers came up he said that she did it to run away with "that man".)

Kasumi divorced him because she did not want to keep living a loveless marriage where she would be used as an object or a maid and be neglected as a woman. This is the normal response from a decent and kind woman inside a loveless marriage and we all know that Kasumi was no gold digger, she actually was seeking comfort and attention. (Still her husband cheating on her was too much of a inserted convenience).
Ryoji is just a side result, because she did say that she would had gone with just anyone but in the end she fell in love with Ryoji after their affair.
If Ryoji would had come to the beach that night she would accept be with him, else she would had just moved on and gone somewhere else away from them.
Good thing Ryoji did went there since he was serious about her.

I had read on discussion about some people complaining that there was no action from Mio or Harumi.
People, this is a love story with sexual scenes so its bound to be romantic between 2 people also its not harem so of course the others would not be included on sexual scenes.

But do not despair! This story is based on an eroge visual novel, so in that visual novel you do get to bang the other two and perhaps another!
But the director of this flick decided to go with the MILF route only instead. (Perhaps Kasumi is the main heroine of the game but who knows I havent played it.)
So no worries, those two did had their chance on their routes in the game.

Well, i can't complain I feel satisfied with the ending. I would watch it again but not now. There are more flicks i need to review and my workload is heavy.

I'll give this story a 8/10.
