Renai Boukun is parody of Death Note, so even this shows are not similar at all, you should check it to understand all jokes.

Everyone keeps saying Renai Boukun is like Death Note and Mirai Nikki, but I'd say it's much more similar to Kami Nomi. Both are harems, both are somewhat making fun of the genre, and Guri's character from Renai Bakunin is very similar to Elsie from Kami Nomi

Male MC who has a magical girl in his life suddenly appear and causes an instant harem. In Renai, theres a yandere, and in love comedy there's a dandere. ALL THE DERES.

a deity builds strong relationship with a human the protagonist in both is full of good luck both are filled with a lot of parody and sarcasm

if you are the type of person to be guilty enough to love harem type comedies, with a hint of drama from time to time, then i think this one would be perfect for you. it's a step higher quality-wise from the former, but it's still a treat.

- unique romcom - both have a normal main character living with or meeting supernatural creatures - both involve a girl with special liking to some kinds of people (Guri is a yaoi- and yuricon and Benio is a sis- and lolicon)

If you like unpredictable and nonsensical humor of Gintama, you are going to like Renai Boukun. That's pretty much as far as similarities go.

- comedy with strange supernatural elements (RB: demons, angels, kiss note, ... - MSO: magical girls, demons, gender-bender, ...) - similar artstyle - similar humor/atmosphere - LOVE POWER

both of them: have a male character principal who is loved by girls principal characters have a goddess companion who is overly attached and needy have an overpowered woman who is also the love rival of the goddess same type of comedy similar length

Both are highly over the top rom coms that start with a threesome relationship then it evolves into chaotic harem. The humor is similar with a lot of absurd situations and shouting so if you liked one, you'll like the other too.

The anime is very funny has a very cool reference to death note and a novel that encourages anyone.

There is a yandere character here. While Mirai Nikki is dark anime, Renai Boukun is a comedy anime. Complete opposite of the anime Mirai Nikki. Give it a try. Good laughs.

The same ditsy Cupid and unlucky guy plot , where unlucky guy get's entangled with the ditsy Cupid's botch up mission and has to deal with has to deal with his uncalled for harem that turns his world upside down. Also, both unlucky guys have to deal with one of their harem member who seemly has a murderous intent with their lives.

Very Similar Harem Anime Both In Art Style and Comedy.

Ridiculous violence and a generally unhinged view of comedy. Love gone very, very wrong.

I feel its a little more similar to the second OVA since the set-up comes basically outta nowhere for the MC, but both shows have them equally murdered on an episodic basis without a care in the world from the perpetrators; all in the name of love.

These anime both have a lot to do with the concept of the kiss, and the main premise being based around it (getting powers from kissing, having to kiss because it's a death note spoof). Both also have very good comedic aspects, with a variety of female characters that coordinate well with the male MC.

Parody humour, school setting, element of supernatural and feeling of harem without actual harem in the list of genres. Also some characters are similar: Shikimi=Shiho, Guri=Youko/Akane, Yuzu=Nagisa etc. Both are not really deep (though both have some sad and not that bright scenes) and good for enjoyment.

* Similar art style * Angels/shingami and Angels/Demons * School, supernatural comedy * Cute girls

A rather unusual harem featuring immortal MC (trait, that he will use a lot), girls with supernatural abilities and lots comedy.
report Recommended by Piromysl
* Girl 1 is a yandere * Our MC has a secret crush on Girl 1 * Girl 2 helps MC get closer to Girl 1 * Girl 1 turns out to have feelings for MC as well * School harem -- Despite these similarities, School Days is a stark contrast to Renai Boukun which is a lighthearted, comedic, and nonsensical show you're not supposed to take seriously.

Both series are romantic comedies. The characters have similar traits, even though the characters are not just copy/paste. For example in Renai Boukun, Yuzu loving Akane is like how Cthuko loves Nyaruko. But Yuzu's more timid nature falls under Hasuta's personality. Anyways, both series are filled with references that parody other series to Ghostbusters and Men in Black. check them out

A bunch of people are forced into a close relationship due to unfortunate circumstances. Filled with wacky humor to the brim, but also take some steps back sometimes to explore individual characters in somewhat serious arcs.

Main female character of Yuushibu and Renai Boukun are similar to each other that are soft-headed girl and amusing.

Both shows are parodies of famous anime series directed by Tetsurou Araki.

Although Konosuba tried to stay away from love and couples in the show, both have a MC with a group of girls with interesting qualities to say the least. The humor is amusing and it's a comedy worth checking out
