the background art is so much better here, and the characters feel like they're all switched around. rika and hitomi's personalities are completely switched. kanae has been replaced with an insane person.

i'm on a mission to find out as much about platonic chain as i can. i'll even blow money on the japanese language manga for this. we're lucky there's even a way to watch this thing

as far as recommendations go, if you made it through all of platonic chain, just go ahead and watch this.

Animation quality. This might have been considered to of the line 3d animation when it came out but now it is painful to look at. The images on screen look shakey and it just looks like a bad pov. It feels crowded and a little too high energy. Basically if it moves like stick figures with anime girl bodies. The background feels like what google earth would be if it came out before the first smart phone. It feel like this would significantly better if they animated it like a normal anime for the time.

Audio. There's not much to say it's fine.

Plot. It's fine ... could have had some more focus on each characters motivations and reasoning. This feels like it's from the 90s but was made in the 2000s.
