Standard shounen .Sad boy has a tough life, he gets some power and starts to take life into his hands, faces enemies and gets stronger and stronger. If you want to watch something simple and entertaining, this is the thing you are looking for.

A realy good plot outline. I have high expectations on how this side of the story turns out.
What realy bothered me were the knightmare battles. This CG shit realy doesn't work anywhere. The other thing was the costumes. At moments you can barely deduce who's who.

A very interesting show. It has a grat story with a great naration... I should say narrations. I loved the big cast with interesting and belivable characters.
I haven't read the novels, but I'm pretty positive the first 12 episodes depict the first novel and the Slasher and Gang-wars arc the second and third novels respectively... I think the Slasher arc was a little too short and the involvement of the other secondary characters was too little...

I will sure as hell rewatch at least the first 12 episodes because of the insight I got now that I've ended the series.

Both specials were realy fun to watch. I can't tell which was the better one.
The first one was a lot funnier and with a backwards storyline. The second was a nice epilogue to the series.

I hope we get to see a second season of the show.

First episode: The first episode's pretty good. It's a perfect balace between a war theme and being child oriented. Looking forward for the next episode.
Last episode: It was realy worth the watch. You have to keep in mind it's realy meant for kinds. There were still too many characters.

What a series!!! Like I said in the tags: I don't remember when I last sat down and watched 6 ep. of a series in one day.
The animation is one of the strongest aspects of the series... not to mention the story and character interactions...
Can't wait for the movies to come out.

Wtf?!?!... How can you get an entire story, complete with a plot twist, into 9 minutes and 8 seconds??

The last shot of the laast episode was a shocker! :)

I needed realy long to start the series and I regreat it... what can you do. What matters is that I watched it now. I recommend it to everyone - even those who do not like sci-fi.
They could have added one more episode and extended what was happening in episode 25 and 26. They felt realy rushed. I also hoped I'll get to see how the Von Braun enters the Jovian system.

Why has everyone to be addressed with their name and FULL TITLE??

I liked the second season a bit more than the first season. There was not so much new info and terminology to be dealt with. I don't get why people are complaining about the first half of the series. The slice of life arc of the season was realy neat and gave a great insight into the iner workings of some of the characters... Granted - if you watched the episodes as they came out you probably were bored out of your mind the first 3 months of the broadcast. But for someone who watches 4 - 6 episodes a week this should not be a big problem. The second half is just action-packed and it keeps you watching episode after episode. In the last episode (24) I missed a longer epilouge. I don't know the source material but it felt cut down to just the basics - what some of the side characters are doing, Shana and Kazumi waiting and Yuji walking to meet with one of them, delivering one line...
Let's get onto SnSS and season III.

The first two episodes were nice humorous inserts into the main story.
The last two (Overture part 1 & 2) were interesting as we were able to see a at that time ''empty'' Shana.The ending was realy sad with all the people that loved the girl forgetting she ever existed... I was almost crying...
