Manga
I recently started reading some manga. The first was Special A. I enjoyed the anime a lot, so I read the manga online. It was great to see so much more to the story. Much longer, more characters, and 99 chapters. Just great.
I thought somewhat about reading the mangas of the anime I have watched. I might do that, but I happened across one called Koko no Iru yo! that was on the front page of MAL under the random recommendations. Every time I finished a chapter, I looked at the start of the next and just kept reading. In a matter of moments, I got real surprised to find it was 3 AM already, heh. It's a great read, and I'm enjoying it too, especially as my second read. I'm excited to see how it keeps going. It's not finished yet, so I'll be enjoying reading it as it's made.
As for anime, I watched the first season of Clannad. I started the 'After Story'. It's an amazing anime. It has it's emotional moments, but it is the first that has made me laugh so much. The comedic moments are just brilliant.
I'm also watching Sora no Manimani and Princess Lover! as they are being released. Sora no Manimani is a nice high school comedy. Nothing super unique about it, but it's pleasant to watch. Princess Lover! is great, though I could enjoy it if it weren't ecchi. Sexual innuendoes are funny, but it doesn't have to really use the theme of dirty anime. The story, characters, and world itself are very enjoyable.
Then there's Umi Monogatari. I have to say, it's opening and ending songs are amazing. They are just so so relaxing. The anime isn't that great though. I'm just watching it because I started it.
Finally, Bakemonogatari. It is very interesting and amusing. The relationship between the main characters is funny, but now a new obstacle has appeared. It was quite a dramatic encounter at the end of the last episode!
Oh, and season 2 of Haruhi Suzumiya. For some reason, the latest episode out of the Endless Eight seemed very...bland, and not to mention, I felt that sense of Deja Vu that I already saw them blackmail stores to make a movie. Though, I don't have the energy to go back to season 1 and look for it.
