Manga:
Finished reading Koukou Debut.

I think I'll be reading Kimi no Iru Machi now.

Anime:
Watching Toaru Kagaku no Railgun and it's parent story, Toaru Mjutsu no Index. Also, Kimi Ni Todoke =)

I'm liking them a lot.

A bit off topic of manga and anime, here's a gif I've been working on for a while. It is the scene of FFX in Lake Macalania with Tidus and Yuna. The version I'm putting below is the short version, I'll be working on the full version over the next few months. This version has a gif consisting of 301 shots. I've taken 901 manually cropped screenshots frame by frame. I took every 3rd frame to make this gif. In the end, I will have taken 3930 total screenshots, manually cropped, and an estimated 1310 will make up the final gif. Hope anyone who sees this enjoys it. I've been unable to figure a way to make it my avatar on MAL. If they could let direct links for the picture, then I'd be golden, oh well, heh.

Haven't been watching much in the last couple of weeks. I had to focus quite a bit of time on studying for my first set of exams. Also, I've been playing the new Kingdom Hearts game for the DS. It's a great game. This isn't much of an entry, but I just felt like writing here.

I recently started reading some manga. The first was Special A. I enjoyed the anime a lot, so I read the manga online. It was great to see so much more to the story. Much longer, more characters, and 99 chapters. Just great.

I thought somewhat about reading the mangas of the anime I have watched. I might do that, but I happened across one called Koko no Iru yo! that was on the front page of MAL under the random recommendations. Every time I finished a chapter, I looked at the start of the next and just kept reading. In a matter of moments, I got real surprised to find it was 3 AM already, heh. It's a great read, and I'm enjoying it too, especially as my second read. I'm excited to see how it keeps going. It's not finished yet, so I'll be enjoying reading it as it's made.

As for anime, I watched the first season of Clannad. I started the 'After Story'. It's an amazing anime. It has it's emotional moments, but it is the first that has made me laugh so much. The comedic moments are just brilliant.

I'm also watching Sora no Manimani and Princess Lover! as they are being released. Sora no Manimani is a nice high school comedy. Nothing super unique about it, but it's pleasant to watch. Princess Lover! is great, though I could enjoy it if it weren't ecchi. Sexual innuendoes are funny, but it doesn't have to really use the theme of dirty anime. The story, characters, and world itself are very enjoyable.

Then there's Umi Monogatari. I have to say, it's opening and ending songs are amazing. They are just so so relaxing. The anime isn't that great though. I'm just watching it because I started it.

Finally, Bakemonogatari. It is very interesting and amusing. The relationship between the main characters is funny, but now a new obstacle has appeared. It was quite a dramatic encounter at the end of the last episode!

Oh, and season 2 of Haruhi Suzumiya. For some reason, the latest episode out of the Endless Eight seemed very...bland, and not to mention, I felt that sense of Deja Vu that I already saw them blackmail stores to make a movie. Though, I don't have the energy to go back to season 1 and look for it.

I finished the series Toradora! I enjoyed the humor, but it got real dramatic in the last 7-8 episodes. I enjoyed it very much. I started up Clannad. I must say, it is very funny. There are plenty of moments that just split my sides. I'm going to enjoy this a lot. I've seen 8 episodes. During this time, I've also been watching Eureka Seven for my 3rd time in just over 2 years. After Toradora!, I am rewatching Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens also.

Some Airing shows that I'm watching as they are subbed are Bakemonogatari, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2, Sora no Manimani, and Princess Lover!.

Bakemonogatari is quite stimulating to the mind. I like the style, even if it's just a lot of talking, and the story doesn't seem to have any direction that I see yet. I think they're still building characters.
Endless Eight, I expected eight episodes after the 3rd repeat, so I'm just gonna watch till 9.
Sora no Manimani is a nice high school comedy it seems. Gonna stick with it. It's alright, but something nice to watch.
Princess Lover! is great. Episodes feel too short, but I like the setting and world as it progresses. I think this is what is classified as an ecchi, but I would probably like it better if it was just a high school comedy. That genre is my favorite I guess.

This is my first entry.

A little about me...
I'd like to meet people, but I'm too shy to do so on my own, so please feel free to leave a comment. Even in person I'm not great at approaching people. Not sure what to say besides the typical "what's your major? Where are you from? What do you think of class?" I slowly got into anime. I think I started watching after recalling some short glimpses I saw on Cartoon Network. The two I looked for were Samurai Champloo and Eureka Seven. I found them, and watched them. It was easy to see Japanese voiceovers are better than English. Fact, no question about it.

You can see from my anime list what I'm currently watching. Though, I'm re-watching Eureka Seven again. After I watched Pocket Full of Rainbows, I felt so conflicted between the stories that I couldn't continue watching the series for a week. The different story made me feel quite unsettled, but after a few days it sunk in. I did enjoy it from the beginning. The Nanashi subs of the movie right now are on that 4.4gb mkv. I noticed that the main audio dialogue is almost absent in a left ear of headphones. I hope a smaller correct .avi file with the subs comes out in the upcoming months.

I usually check out anime if the name seems to catch my attention. I'm enjoying Toradora! very much. I think high school set comedies seem to be my favorite genre.

Hope you enjoyed browsing through. I'm hoping to be more vocal in posts and such here, so see you around =]

(Note: notice that smiley. It's not even full. I even smile like that. Just the ends. Some time in high school, I grew very introverted. Now, I feel awkward to put on a full smile. To say it doesn't feel natural anymore kind of gives an idea of my shy attitude and difficulty to meet people. Even blogging so much detail here to strangers is another sign. But, I'm hoping people will comment and I can share my interests) =]
