Really liked this episode, we got to see Integra's childhood (well part of it) and also her meeting with Alucard.
Although I would quite like to find out more about what sets Alucard apart from other vampires, maybe how he came to be a vampire and how he came to be in the service of the Hellsing family, but I guess that is asking too much, maybe Hellsing Ultimate will shed some light, or maybe I will have to read the manga..
Overall good episode, a little more dialogue than the rest so it was good to answer a few questions.
Yay! I've been waiting for this episode lol. I actually saw a couple of Hellsing episodes a long time ago but out of order X3 I love Integra's background story of how she met Alucard. And yea her Uncle deserved what he got. =P
If I remember right from reading the manga (Ultimate hasn't caught up yet last I saw)
every time Alucard kills someone (or at least most of the time) he takes them in as a familiar, so I guess that they get killed instead of him. I dunno,it was a bit confusing.
I don't find nothing to like in Integra's background... I mean nothing special about it. Still, Alucard was white haired... lol :D
And Incognito is alive... so we'll get some interesting fight, I hope.
episode was not interesting background story was boring just Alucard was cool like always and thats all..this anime is boring im just watching it becoz of Alucard he gives this anime thats interesting thing that makes you watch it until the end everything else is failed.
This anime makes round spectacles look so cool :)
Anyway, I was waiting for that episode. I am interested to find out more about what's between Alucard and Integra.
Ejoyed a lot of Integra's childhood, also as always Alucard saved her, their meeting was very cool.
That guy in the end is pissing me off.I hope Alucard kill him soon :D
"There is no such thing as an Anime elitist. You watch Anime, therefore, you are trash by society's standards."
The first half or so of the episode was so boring I couldn't tolerate it much longer, but it picked up pretty quickly and actually became quite interesting. Still, I feel like the first 6 episodes of the series were significantly better than every episode since has been...
pretty good music but feels a bit out of place at some points.looks like we got a big look at integra backstory and got a look at her mom sort off. Who looks indian. Seems like intergras brother was a douch. Also seems integra and alucard has sort of a thing. You would think intergra would want a kid sometime down the road to keep the hellsing family going. Kinda call BS if shes not vamp. I mean that chick before was sucking on her for a little bit.Over all really good episode.
Wait, they can't find her so go to check the underground jails. At this point, having heard their plans while safely hidden in the airvents, she decides to go to the same underground jails?
Lucky for her everyone in this show gives a speech before shooting you, else she'd be dead long before she opened Alucard's cell :)
I was really hoping that there will be something more about Integra's backstory and explanation of Alucard being a servant... So now I'm really satisfied. :3
And I'm so happy that Sir Hellsing survived because she really didn't deserve such a tragical ending.
And... Am I only one finding Alucard observing surgery of his Master and keeping eye on her somehow sweet and cute?
Nice little backstory episode about Sir Integra. The relationship between her and Alucard was pretty sweet. Thank god she didn't die cuz that would've been a massive shame because she's such a good character.
Integra backstory (including how she met Alucard), small details about Hellsing's questionable ethics, surgery, minor scenes of the other main characters, and Incognito raises some forces. I didn't find this super interesting, but I also don't really like Integra. The show seems to go between wanting me to find her as a strong commander and seeing her as having questionable morals/ideals (and maybe these are both the point). I'm not really feeling it though. Also, the combination of the implications of questionable ethics and Incognito's ethnicity (seems African based on Alucard's comment about "the dark continent - oh boy) makes me feel weird...
