| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I end my Ai Yazawa Anime marathon with the first of her works to be adapted to Anime and this OVA is an easy going sweet fun slice of her more classic shoujo style, which I personally prefer over her later Josei works. Without a doubt her shoujo work is far more 'fluffy' if you will, but hey it makes me happy and this OVA had the same effect on me as Gokinjo Monogatari. I would have certainly been interested in watching a series for this, the lead characters is a fun bubbly character and the male love interest seemed nice, the short time spent on the side characters made them also appear likable. I enjoyed this 30 minute OVA just fine, I thought it was quite good and fit alot in despite it's short running time. |
| Aw that was cute, and although the visuals were average, the directing was interesting at times. This is one of those that needs a modern remake, or in this case, a proper adaptation. |
