| Generic isekai with the same plot as every other isekai that released around the same time but less appealing characters lol. I enjoyed the manga a lot more before the anime was actually announced. |

| First of all, I do not know what people have against "6"s in ratings. Whether it´s the the 6 in percentile ratings (60-69%) or the one in a regular 1-10 rating system, for some weird reason people seem to think these ratings aren´t worth a damn and mean the rated medium is bad. It is not. Now I know some people have slightly differing views on what each score means to them personally. Furthermore, is there really any difference in a 6 in contrast to a 7 rating? With percentage ratings this problem becomes even more clear. I have even seen quite a view people on MAL invent their own weird rating system, like 1-6 means pure trash or any anime, no matter how bad it is, is always automatically a 6 or 7 and can only get better. It´s time to throw that in the trash and see the 6 rating as what it oftentimes is perceived as: (above) average or for "fans of the genre". That´s at least what it means to me and the majority of people I have encountered when talking about this subject. And 5 and 6 are also a good "fence-sitting" ratings for when you are not sure if you want to be more positive or negative towards a particular medium. Secondly, this rating is still too generous imo (6.56 at the time of me writing this). As a fan of fantasy and isekai stories (before isekai became it´s own defacto genre in and of itself) I am appalled at how bad this show is. Without going into any details: A boring story/setup, some of the worst cookie-cutter characters I have seen so far and a stupdily OP anime nice guy MC don´t make for a good combo. I know this is the state for the majority of modern isekai right now. And that is the saddest thing in all of this. There is a reason why a good chunck of people get almost allergic reactions when they hear the word "isekai" uttered. It is because we have been flooded from the mid 2010s onwards with one mediocore isekai trash anime after the other. Sorry for the rant, but I needed to get this out of my system right now. PS: Lots of other similar isekai anime have a very similar score compared to this one as well. |

| 6.5 is not too bad. It's very generic and pretty lackluster in terms of the story and character development. There wasn't really much to elevate it to a higher score. Either way, I enjoyed the show, but that's probably why. |

The fact that something like that is rated higher than 86 is mind boggling to me. |

So this show is actually doing better than above average. On your side note in particular, I find it funny you would say other "relatively boring shows" get overrated when I see this happening for all of these bland isekai flicks, including Kenja no Mago. Just give those cute girls an OP harem protagonist to lead them and all´s good for the majority of people it seems. |

| art good, animation good, combat good and story meh generic and character is meh MC op whatever u do, even u are demon lord, u still lose MC characteristic is basically weak, easy blush, very cringe, awkward etc I found misfit have way better in every single aspect than this sh#t |

| Mal Hates fun. This anime is just fun, but nothing really specials. Don't trust the ranking in Mal. Anything above a 6 can really good. 5's are maybes, 4s well just taking your chances. |
| well I can think of 2 things. 1. People just have different taste. 2. loads of people think they could write something better them self boasting how unoriginal it is how copy paste it is like they even know what they talk about but the only thing they could even write is a Sonic X Shadow fanfic. Im no expert what so ever but I consumed over 2000 movies not far of from 1000 anime shows and loads of big fantasy titles so I seen and read my share so got some ideas which could be entirely wrong. It´s simple if you don´t like it don´t watch it but don´t pretend you know better. But I think this anime was fun and had it´s own original ideas and well some copy ideas. But when you look at mostly anything new today they copy ideas left and right. You can see that in both music movies and books most of them has some original idea and shit loads of borrowed ideas. So here is something if you want 100% original ideas make it your self before pissing on some one else creation about not being original. In the end you just sound like an ignorant moron. |

| The manga is a decent 7/10 and imo the anime adapt is clearly inferior in a few ways to the manga, causing the rating to be decently lower. Deservedly too. -Art's worse -Story Pacing is off which -Ruins a lot of the needed world building, -Throws off character development, -And causes battle/training scenes to be worse off. -Too much exposition in the wrong places, too little in the right places (the manga did better to balance this out). This anime suffers from very similar problems as "Arifureta" and "Weakest Sage/Strongest Crest" |

| It's not too bad for a binge watch. This is where I think these trashy, painted over Isekai/fantasy anime shine best, when you don't have to wait a week for a new episode, and can just binge through them in a day or two. It's just a bit of 6/10 mindless fun. |
| I originally only rated Animes between a 5-10; Anything below a 5 would have to be something insanely terrible... but then I realized that this mindset was wrong. The rating goes between 1 to 10 and even MAL calls '5' as Average. This anime is not 'average', its very obviously bad for numerous reasons. At best the only thing it has going for it is decent animation. Honestly, a 6 point whatever is too high of a rating for this anime. |
