| The first half was well done but it went down hill after that. I also watched a few episodes in English dub while multitasking and the tone of the entire show shifts dramatically between Japanese and English which is quite a travesty. The characters become more throwaway, less interesting and overall annoying af as the story progresses. I haven't read the source material but it appears that the production team couldn't follow through to the end. I agree with what someone else said in that it has likely been rated high because of "sad" |
