As some others mention - Do I know the highschooler? Are they a family friend? Are they a few weeks from graduation or in their first week of highschool? Why have they runaway and for how long - What Gender? Many questions😅. I think 'No' is the answer to your first half - With the hypothetical that laws don't exist, then it would be 'Yes' under very specific circumstances - Those being that I know them/their parents and only becuase there's no other option - Ergo the parent is Sick perhaps or some such. I don't think, even in a lawless land, I would take in a stranger - I might give them a couch for a night if the situation deemed it appropriate and then ring the police or some contact that they provide - But I like my quiet life enough not to think I'd ever risk more then that. All that said, I did recently in fact take In my younger sister - Mind you she was 18 and literally a week from graduating high school at the time, but that is similar to this anime, down to my sister having a major arguement with her mam - Of course the difference being I'm related to my sister and what not. Still ended up having a first fight with my uncle over it all - Assaulted on my own front doorstep😅, taking in anyone who's running away from someone, even a close blood-relation, comes with risks and responsibilities - I literally 'got the (torn up) T-Shirt, been there, done that' of this question😂😂. I don't like the imagine what it would be like if the highschooler wasn't even a relation, a first fight might be the least of your worries.... Apologies if that answer was a bit too serious, lol, add in funny FBI joke here 😅😂 |
