Correct me if i'm wrong.
Dr Lou is asked to be a Wallfacer, People who may be able to put up some resistance to the Alien invasion.
He refuses, not knowing what is going on, nothing has been explained to him at all.
An Assassination on the Dr is attempted.
Seems the Aliens can read Thoughts, as explained by the Old Woman.
This was a good episode, easier to understand and more was explained.

No that is incorrect, the aliens are a broadcast style telepathic race allowing them to automatically know what each other of their own race is thinking so humans thoughts and behaviors are the one thing they ARE NOT able to reliably comprehend and predict. Two smaller than proton particle super quantum computers reached earth and that allows them surveillance of every PHYSICAL ACTION to be transmitted back via faster than light quantum tunneling. Dr Lou a normal guy was selected based on his unpredictable personality to throw them off at least one of the avenues of approach wed take to counter their invasion. this is percisely why they NEED other humans to insure that they decode and counter the human contingency plans for them(the aliens)
