| I knew this was announced a long time ago but I did not know the Akira Shin project was cancelled, what a shame. anyone have any sources regarding the cancellation? |

| This happened with the To The Moon movie adaptation. The entry was deleted/removed from connections, but there’s no real source (unless someone here finds one), that tells us it’s been canceled. Shin Akira is probably in a state of limbo right now, not canceled. |
| It's not canceled there just isn't any news on it. Sunrise are the kings of announcing things ridiculously early. Not sure why the mal page isn't there but the page is there on other anime list sites. |
