| Been a long and hard six years since we've seen DB on TV. Movies were cool and all, but something about DB on TV just feels right. Obviously going into this with the though of this being in living memory of Toriyama, the last of his works we'll ever get, so let's hope we went out with a bang. Starting off with a recap from the Boo saga, kinda like what Super Hero did in the beginning of the movie, just this time a bit longer. The recap of Boo though, in the eyes of Shin's younger or older brother? Someone related to Shin no doubt. And some jester looking dude, which'll be the main villain of the show it would seem. Nice to see the Namekians of all races make a return this episode. Haven't really seen much of them since the Frieza saga. Though, who cares about that WHEN WE FINALLY GET TO SEE THE WHOLE GANG AGAIN FOR TRUNK'S BIRTHDAY!!! Legit basically everyone was there. So nice to see everybody again. And hey, they finally explained why Shin and Kibito separated lmaooo. Took them long enough to explain. Then we got a calssic and EPICCCCC Goku v. Vegeta fight. Funny how Vegeta and animation went all out with that attack, just for Goku to punch him... lol. But yeah, moving back to the jester and other Shin, we ofc, got revealed that this Namekian, as per every Namekian for some reason, is hella strong despite being old as hell. Dude just casually found all the dragon balls with ease basically. And even though it's bad to see Shenron because of the context, it's so cool to see him again that I don't even care lmao. And ofc, his wish is the whole premise of the show, all the cast turns into little kids again... xDDDDDDDDDD Damn, how good it feels to have Dragon Ball back. These next couple weeks will be filled with greatness, I just know and hope.  |

| This retains a similar look compared to Dragon Ball Super. We got classic adult Goku vs Vegeta. Very nostalgic though at seeing segments with the various villains including Buu. Seems the character designs are updated to modern standards. Didn't see much GT stuff so I guess they're only going with canon elements from the original DBZ series. Shenron makes its appearance so they're sticking with the roots of the show as expected. It feels like a very nostalgic style of storytelling imo but a great welcome back for fans of the franchise. |

They told a bit of the Boo saga again, but with more current animation and very well animated, as expected from a first introductory episode of this new Dragon Ball GT. |

| Bro set a new record for collecting the dragon balls. And funny how Kaioshin and Kibito are already seperated here thanks to Buu's gas. In Super Kaioshin learned that Vegeto's fusion was nullified due to the time limit for mortals, not Buu. Good to have some weekly Dragon Ball content again before we get a continuation to Super. Need a palate cleanser after Super Dragon Ball Heroes. |

| Hype overload!!! Peak is here!!! I couldn't wait for the subs to come out so I just watched it raw. I'm so happy and excited to have new weekly Dragon Ball content. This episode looked great. Amazing visuals also with the recap of the Buu saga. Can't wait to see where the story goes. On a sidenote, this has to be the most dialogue and exposition we've ever gotten in Dragon Ball. Over 10 minutes of the villains just talking and nothing happening. It felt a bit strange to be honest but I don't dislike it. |
| I was losing my shit watching every damn second, the animation was so fluid! The new characters seem fun, oh God I cant believe Im watching a new dragon ball anime that looks this bloody good! There were rumors of this just being shy of 20 eps but I hope to God theres more! This is how I wanted modern DB to look, an actual upgrade and not the monstrosity we got in DBS in its early run. The Opening is so catchy too! Everything about this anime feels like a dream. Peak has arrived! And I am ready! This seems to take place straight after Boo arc and before BoG, so we get no blue, red and white haircolor transformations which I am honestly a fan of. I hope every fan just have fun with the series for a lot of reasons. Lets all just chill and enjoy the ride. RIP Toriyama sensei, this being his last work and it looking this good just… makes me cry, thank you Toriyama sense and TOEI. 59/10. |

| First of all Rip Toriyama sensei. People have been shitting on this concept since it was announced and while I want Moro arc and more super like the rest of us, I also am very excited to see this play out especially as a massive GT fan as a kid Seeing the Buu saga redone in modern art and animation 🤤 that was amazing. This whole episode looked gorgeous, outside of the movies easily the best Db has ever looked. Wow. I love that we’re getting more of the demon realm stuff. Arinsu served face and already my fave new character, the Tertian oculus sounds interesting and Gomah is pure comedy. Bro was so happy to finally be king and no one gave a fuck 😭 Personally really excited for the cast being kids again. Now we can get that adventure aspect of the OG DB and GT. This should be fun. If they keep up the quality, we eating good |

| After so many years, Dragon Ball is finally back. It feels surreal, especially after the recent passing of the author Akira Toriyama. I never expected him to pass away so soon... I'll never forget you or your works Toriyama-sensei... So, Daima actually takes place before Super? I didn't know that. That's kind of refreshing and disappointing. After so many years, I was expecting a sequel to Super. So it's disappointing. Seems like they only want to continue Super through movies which isn't bad but it's not the same as the series. But Daima is also refreshing cause it takes place before Super and thus it doesn't have all the Super Saiyan Blue and Beerus crap that I did get tired of after some time. And Toriyama was heavily involved with this anime which makes it exciting. The first half was basically a recap of the Buu saga. The animation looked very good. It already looks better than Super. Wish we got a Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z remake with this kind of animation. With all of the cast turning into children, this almost seems like Toriyama's take on GT. But expect this to be better and more interesting than GT in a different way. Hope this will be good. |

| I was a believer until the show went back to the shitty super art 20 mins in. Toei couldn't even stick to a slightly refined art style from DBZ Buu Saga (even-though they showed it in the Episode). At the end of the day, it's to be expected, it's Toei after all. All they do is fuck up. Nonetheless, we got a glimpse what modern Dragon Ball could be. I'll remain skeptical and hope for the best. |
| Very enjoyable and lighthearted episode. New villains seem goofy - I laughed out loud multiple times, Akira's sense of humor is definitely present there. I am curious how Vegeta in child form will look like. I am not sure if turning Trunks and Goten into babies was a good idea, would be cool to see Goten + Goku or Vegeta + Trunks fusion later on. So far I like it more than mediocre DBS. Lots of CGI which I despise in general but somehow it didn't bother me that much here. |

| I guess it was fine, I liked GT back in the day so I imagine I will enjoy this one, only downside is that because of the setting Pan won't be in the show which makes me sad, I hope Panzy fills her role well enough. |

| For some reason the best part are the new villian characters. They are full of character are are not one note. The demonking Pilaf is scarred of the Z fighters (motive) grants his co conspirators a far reward is full of himself but will dial it down and ask a space fish nicely. He has a plan that is thought through and reasonable (to an extent) and when put under pressure to specify the wish does. The elderly Namekian seems to have an intriuging past (the dragonball creation, creating the guards and not seeing someone of his race for a 1000 years) and seems like a gentle but slightly unpleasant old man with a sinister feel to him if he was sound of mind. That stems from his history and amazing powers. Even the detail of excitement of seeing Dende paint more of a picture of him. And who could forget the silly but mostly collected demon kai. Taking notes is something more characters should do in general. He is a servant of sorts to the new king and feels glee when he becomes one too. The way he plays along and of of his boss is so natural. But even when he lets himself be dragged into the back seat as soon as a child just speaks up he swiftly chops him in the chest. Cruel but not overly so. Even this "evil" interaction is not cartoony. To think 30 minutes of only those guys will be so entertaining to me. |

| I loved everything about this episode! Music, Animation, Characters, etc, everything was amazing! I'm honestly just happy to see Dragon Ball back in general, and with a new series. Even though the plot might be a little corny I feel like it will still be enjoyable. The first episode is a solid 8/10 RIP AKIRA TORIYAMA THANK YOU FOR DRAGON BALL!!! |
| Damn, The animation recapping the past events especially the Buu arc was so crisp! Really amazing stuff, Gotta say I was not expecting it to be this engaging. The setup is great and the new characters are very fun and likeable hahaha. Looking forward to this! Expanding the lore of the universe by introducing the Demon realm, Rip Akira Toriyama. |
