 The official site of the Darwin Jihen (The Darwin Incident) television anime revealed additional staff, second teaser visual (pictured) and teaser promotional video on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.Music composers Alisa Okehazama (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) and Mariko Horikawa are composing the music for the anime. Yoshikazu Iwanami (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) is the sound director. Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)) is directing the anime at Bellnox Films. Shinichi Inotsume (Persona 5 the Animation) is handling the series composition and Shinpei Tomooka (Trinity Seven) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Shun Umezawa's sci-fi manga which began in Afternoon magazine in June 2020. Kodansha shipped the eighth volume on November 21. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2022 and released the sixth volume on July 9. The seventh volume is scheduled to go on sale on June 10, 2025. Teaser PV Source: Comic Natalie |
