We kinda knew this already from the key visual released in 2023. This is probably the worst kept secret involving anime in a while.

The main question is, are they gonna reveal Season 4 in Anime Japan 2025 or not which is gonna happen on March 23.

Honestly, I approve White Fox not rushing Arc VI adaptation. They need a very different set of skills compared to S3 though.

That's good to know because this anime is almost ending and I will miss it, I just wish the OST was better like the previous seasons that had an amazing OST.

I also hope it gets released sooner, waiting 4+ years again sucks.

almost ending? arc 5 is just now wrapping up. the light novel is on arc 9 and they plan on making 12 arcs with a slight chance of more. so it's barely halfway done. Imma be optimistic and say we'll probably get 4 more seasons if their sales continue to increase

oh ok yea you right. unfortunately, i wouldn't be surprised if they take several years for s4. i have seen a couple of post about how White Fox had to pull people off re:zero to work on other projects, and thats why they only releasing 16 eps instead of the 22 originally planned.

I'm not exactly confident with the current director for S3 tbh. He's definitely not living up to the detailed direction of Watanabe, also things seem to be moving much faster. Could just be the way arc 5 is structured though, but I hope they direct S4 in a similar fashion to S2 and S1

I have a question guys.
S4 is now in production but it will take time to come I think . So ,Should I read novel or not . I never read a light novel before. But I am a big re zero fan , I was waiting season 3 and now it's going to end . I heard many good things about arc 6 ,so I am thinking to read the novel but the season 4 is in production. So should I wait for season 4 or read the novel. What will be the best thing to do ?

Depends on whether you want to view S4 totally fresh or not.

You can always catch up with the light novels the anime already adapted, especially Vol 4-9 where content was skipped.

Warning: Yen Press really screws Re:Zero hard, sometimes more than Crunchyroll. But well, you gotta support those sales.

Read EX 1-4, they have priceless lore, and won't be adapted to anime, probably.

You can read Arc 4 WN (Witch cult translations); after that and go through Arc 5 LN (which is arguably better than WN version) [Vol 16-20]

WC translations also did some of the Tanpenshuu volumes, so check em out.

Then you can read Arc 6. After that it's pure WN territory for English translations.

Edit: I see you have Gluttony IF PFP, so you can read Sloth, Wrath, Pride and Greed IFs. After reading Arc 6, you can read Gluttony IF.

You can always catch up with the light novels the anime already adapted, especially Vol 4-9 where content was skipped.

makes sense , this season was only 16 episodes and they arent as big as previous 25 episodes where an episode could be 30 minutes
