[CLOSED] Winter 2025 Clash of Unsupported Shows - Shiguang Dailiren: Yingdu Pian vs Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru - Final Match

This was an excellent (if short) S3 for the show that effectively balanced prequel/backstory with the continuation of the story from S2. It particularly thrived in its subtleties with Lu Guang, who I think was at his best this season.

More pretty boys in this time-travel adventure to England. Brush up on your Russian roulette, seems to be a popular game lol. Bonus points for the British and their sports riots. ^^

This is another fun anime this season, specifically as the characters are all pretty interesting, especially Kana Higa who's a top 3 character in AG's PRC Character class. The animation style is a bit different, not surprising since it's by Millepensee, but I consider it one of their hits rather than one of their misses.

I'm actually surprised its even eligible for clash, as its one of the best shows this season. Not only the comedy here is one of the best in recent seasons, but it has a big educational factor as well, a lot of trivias are interesting and enhance the experience. What surprised me that despite it being pure episodic comedy show, characters are still being developed decently.

One of the most fascinating shows of the season. While it is a very cute show with fun characters and fun comedy, the heart of the show is its setting. I find the differences between Okinawa and Mainland Japan very interesting. Multiple times it has sent me on research rabbit holes due to things mentioned in the series. A perfect series for someone interested in learning about cultural difference found within the same nation. Oh, and it has one of the best female MCs of the season in Kana.

Vibrant, educational and good fun. Also best girl Kana Higa.
