It's something that happens with literally everybody. Everyone new to anime at first thinks that the few mainstream shows they've seen are the best ones, including me. But after discovering the vastness of the medium, looking back you'll see how those shows you thought were the best are actually so fucking average.

@alshu Well well well,Just to clarify, this is my ranking of new-gen anime, and I have no intention of putting down non-battle anime. They just aren’t as outstanding as my top 3. That’s exactly why people create tiers when ranking things.

CSN can return to trending at any time, especially there will be a new season after the movie fs. Its the top manga atm.

Liking only certain anime doesn’t mean someone is "limiting" themselves. Some people prefer to deeply explore a few works rather than watching too many at once.

Frieren and Apothecary by themselves top those 3 easily and that's just two anime that aired in the same season last year. Not sure where you're going with the "of all time" when the highest rated anime of all time on MAL is Frieren anyway, not any of those 3. The highest ranked in those three is JJK season 2 and it barely makes the top 50 on MAL.

The animation in these shows is good i guess but the characters and story are pretty shallow and bad, but goes to show most people who watch anime only have like 3 brain cells left so along as it has flashy animation it's top tier to them.

KNY is the One Piece geared for Japanese toddlers replacement.
