This is a list of quality BL works that avoid a lot of common unhealthy tropes in the genre.

Wholesome in this context does not necessarily mean fluffy stories devoid of drama (though there are some). A lot of these do have drama, but the point is that the relationships have a large focus on consent and are also healthy, positive influences for the characters.

All of these entries are complete and are personally recommended favorites (roughly arranged in order of enjoyment).

All works listed exhibit the following:
- Consensual, positive, non-toxic relationships
- Strong characterization and/or strong narratives
- Completed, shorter length series (most are 1-3 volumes, upper limit is 5)
- Quality art (bonus points for unique and non-stereotypical art styles)
- Manga works only

Other common preferences, but not in every work:
- Relationship equality and/or reversal of expected dynamics
- Non-mundane settings and premises (speculative/supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi elements)

This list is for boys love manga that have an interesting or unique physical book. Something that makes it stand out from the standard trade paperback.

Nakayoshi Bangaichi - has a semi-opaque dust jacket that allows the text on the cover to strategically show through the dust jacket. I've never seen another manga cover like this. It's really cool!

a collection of manga themed around, visually alluding too, or making reference to the story of little red riding hood via characters, plot, or framework. there should at least one character wearing a red hood (red hair will also be accepted) and a wolf-like companion/enemy appearing at least once.

genre is irrelevant: we're focusing on iconography here. titles that have other fairytales mixed in will be considered individually on the weight of little red riding hood's influence on the story.
