A lazily written story that, if you've read a mystery plot before, won't find anything that's new nor a solid story.
Let's get the positives out of the way. The art looks nice, and at the beginning, there was serious tension and an interesting story. The protagonist was slowly being driven into a corner, not knowing if the next person would betray or try to kill him.
Then, it throws all of that out of the window, trying to pretend it's Death Note, but the twists are so blatant or just pushed into the story out of nowhere.
Most, if not all characters in the manga are also
...
incredibly lazily written. They are introduced haphazardly and with zero hints, yet they play important roles. Some of them are just random friends introduced that we're supposed to believe have been friends with the protagonist for years. How are we, the readers, supposed to connect to them? Especially when their arcs are pretty much finished and characters established within one chapter.
One of the biggest sins is that the manga pretends it's a mystery-solving case, along with a battle of wits. But what's the damn point when they uncaringly introduce characters that have never been hinted at/mentioned, that are suddenly incredibly important characters, or they suddenly have the solution the characters need.
What's the damn point if they're facing even minor trouble, they introduce another random character to solve it?
The twists are also so incredibly predictable once they don't throw in randomness into the messy plate. It does not take a genius to understand what the author's trying to do, especially since the damn author is practically giving the answers.
If you actually care about a decent story, interesting characters, and development, along with incredible tension and complex story; none of them are in this. But if you're reading it like me - because it's bad, then this might be it.
