The first 2/3 of the show were essentially the "question arcs" introducing numerous mysteries that now will be answered in the "answer arc", which is an epic journey and feels trip on its own. Now would be the perfect time to binge-watch it to catch up on it. It starts kinda weak but as the AniDB episode scores demonstrate there's a clear overall improvement in quality (other than ep 15 which is a fillerish beach episode).
